What a great day trip... - What a great day trip from Brussels. We loved the ability to be able to visit to be able to see Madonna and child and to be able to have enough time to go through the canals.

A must city to see!! - One of the best cities to visit in Belgium. One full day is not enough time. Great restaurants and shops. I recommend the boat tour in the city, a different side of town to explore. Request Martha the tour guide, she was awesome!! Her knowledge, tips and sense of humor was a plus!

Bruges day trip - The Bruges day trip was well organized. The bus is comfortable and the guide, Marta, was very knowledgeable and funny. We saw the most important sights in Bruges, had time for pictures, and wander around the Christmas markets. She also gave us recommendations about places to eat in Brussels when we were back.

Great trip!!!! - Excelent choice. We had a great guide. Yes, you could go on your own, but the experience would not be as rewarding!!! Our guide, Irene, was the best!!!

Fun day trip! - Very friendly guide explaining contexts of things and also giving tips of where to eat/drink. He showed us around the main points and we have around 4 hours to do our own thing.

Beautiful city with lots of hidden gems. - What an amazing city. It was really quiet when we went so there were no queues for anything. I really recommend going to Lizzies waffle house. They sell extra large waffles and everything is cooked fresh at the counter. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and good fun. We really enjoyed her taking us around.

Day trip to Bruges - If you are thinking about taking a day trip to Bruges from Brussels, here are some things you should know. In French and English, it's Bruges, while in Flemish (or Dutch), it's Brugge. The trip gets started at a meet up location where a lot of other tours meet up as well. Not all of the tour guides spoke English. In my experience most of them spoke Spanish, so it was quite confusing to find my actual English speaking guide. I feel it was a bit unorganized, because no one had a sign stating who they were or which line to get in. However, they all had the same lanyard with the tour comapny name so at least you know you're in the right place. The bus ride was comfortable and it lasted about an hour and a half with about five hours in Bruges. After the guided tour in Bruges you are given about 3 to 4 hours to sightsee on your own where you can visit various different souvenir shops and eat at food shops or restaurants including wine and beer. The Christmas market had food, drinks and knick knacks for sale. Make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes since the streets are cobblestone. There are occassions to get some scenic photo ops with canal boat rides or horse carriage rides through the town. I was not expecting it to be so touristy so it was very crowded and busy. However, it is a quaint little historic town with beautiful buildings. In my opinion for the amount of money (very cheap) you pay for a ticket and the time spent getting there and taking the tour, it's totally worth it for just a day trip. I advise going in the warmer months because winter is not your friend in Europe.

Disappointing tour - The guide didn't provide any useful information about Bruges. It was no better that any free tour available or reading the Lonely Planet. We had to pay extra for the headphones (since Bruges regulations force tourists guides to use a speaker) but the speaker didn't work. Yet, they still charged the headphones. The guide's English level was not good either. Overall, the only positive side of the tour is that the cost is similar to going by yourself by train from Brussels. But still, next time I rather go by myself so I can decide how long I want to stay there. It was very disappointing.
