Good trip - Ride out of Brunswick Heads marina was a thrilling one due to heavy swell & high waves coming at us! Well done skipper we enjoyed that! Saw pods of dolphins just after marina. That was a lovely surprise. Out to Julian Rock site. Lots of fish, turtles, some harmless sharks all pointed out by our knowledgeable guides Gabby & Geanne who looked after everyone well & kept us all safely away from the rocks in the currents. 1hr in water was plenty. Surfed the waves back into marina. A good trip.

Amazing experience with incredible sightings - I've had great snorkelling experiences on the Great Barrier Reef, Tasmania and South Australia but hands down, this was the best by far. The Out Of The Blue Crew were very professional, knowledgeable and super friendly. The experience itself was something to behold, I felt blessed to see an array of leopard sharks, a leopard ray, stunning fish and all three turtles - green, loggerhead and hawksbill. It was truly a phenomenonal day and one I'll treasure. I would highly recommend this tour and will be back with my son to do it again soon.

Richmond River Sunset Cruise. - Highly recommend the Richmond River Sunset cruise with Out of the Blue Adventures. I learnt so much of my local area. Saw the river from a different perspective. And it was fun! Refreshments, snacks and "tunes". Will definitely go again, thanks for a great experience.

Just like the photos - would recommend - Amazing snorkling tour - Julian Rocks are great and it really does look like the photos. We saw loads of leopard sharks, turtles, rays and millions of fish. The guides are professional and efficient without being patronising.

Overpriced, not for beginners. - The staff were friendly and the boat ride was fun (not for those that get sea sick!). However, when we got to the island the water was extremely choppy and the current was strong. Despite considering myself a strong swimmer, I did not feel comfortable or safe, especially as it was my first time snorkelling. Even my partner who is more experienced thought it was tough and he spent a lot of his time looking after me in the water. It was quite overcrowded, with three boats of around 18 people all in the same area. This and the choppy waters made for a few kicks and collisions between swimmers. The waters were not particularly clear and unfortunately we didn’t see more than some fish in the hour we were in the water. There were two members of staff in the water with our group who were trying to direct us but I feel most of the time was spent trying not to be swept toward the rocks! When we got back on the boat, the majority of participants were being sick. Overall, I found the experience a bit rushed, traumatic and not what it was made out to be from our prior research. We spoke to some of the other participants afterwards who agreed. I feel it is more suitable for experienced snorkelers or if conditions aren’t the best people should be advised accordingly. I also thought it was a shame the marine biologists didn’t share their knowledge of the area and wildlife at some point. It’s a shame as I was very excited but it wasn’t the experience we were hoping for or expecting, especially for £70 per person.

Poor service and lack of professionalism - We booked this trip after reading good reviews, however when we showed up on the morning of the trip, there was no sign of anyone from the company. I tried to call the contact number several times without a response. Finally, someone called me back and said that they had tried to reach us the night before to let us know that the trip was cancelled due to weather conditions, but they couldn't get hold of us. However, no email or text message was sent to ensure that we were aware of the cancellation. I am dissappointed by this poor service and lack of professionalism. I would not recommend this company.

Unreliable - Trip cancelled by the company in the morning due to the weather via SMS. They announced to contact us after 10 am the same day to arrange a new day for our cruise and asked for patience, but didn‘t reach out for the whole day. When we called after they opened again in the next morning all snorkling trips were already booked out for that day.
