A trip to medieval Bruges - Immerse yourself in both the VR-experience (at some points quite exhilarating!) and the subsequent tour of the many rooms, following the story of two lovers in medieval Bruges. We just loved it!

Great visit! - A visit that allows to know the history of Bruges in an intelligent, educational and visually very successful way. We learn without realizing it. The discovery at the beginning with the headset in virtual reality is incredible, we believe we are in Bruges in the Middle Ages. The rest of the tour is instructive. Everything invites to grow!

Magical excursion in time - A dive into medieval Bruges, nice story, scenery, smells... We follow our young Trainee in his research by addressing several themes of daily life at the time. Very well done and super nice!! As for 3D glasses, we really believe it!! I stayed in this atmosphere for a long time after the visit!! Must see!

Surprisingly beautiful - Fantastic how an image can be given of the history of the city and this framed in a romantic story that captivates until the end and that everyone feels good about. Technically refined, professionally brought, innovative.

The teletime machine exists - Nice view of the Bruges of 1500. Pretty realistic representation me modern technology. Captivates young and old.

A interesting way to learn about Bruges’ golden era. - A different way to learn about Bruges’ history through the use of technology. You follow a story of the character through different rooms after the VR experience. I have to admit that I expected more of historical facts rather than a story of a character. My opinion was that the city story was at the background. An interesting activity for kids and a bit expensive. The terrance had an excellent view of the Market square.

restricted - I went there with my boyfriend and we found it in itself a great experience. The VR was very instructive but a bit on the slow side for us. It was nice to see what the building used to look like. The experience itself was also nice. the audio guide worked excellent and the rooms were magnifique decorated. However, we were sorry that it relied solely on the story and would have liked to know even more about the old Bruges. But it is definitely something to see once in a lifetime and the experience we are certainly not going to forget.

Too much story, not enough Bruges - We were hoping to learn a lot about the life in Bruges during this time period, the daily life, markets, different levels of society, etc. Instead, this attraction focused on a bit of a silly story about a boy searching for a girl and a bird. That being said, adding the VR for 5 euros is worth it. While it is short, it is informative about Bruges in this time period. Also, the exhibit at the end is good and provides more historical background. There is also a nice view of the Market Sqare from balcony of Historium exhibit. I have seen the responses to other reviews saying that this is meant to be accessible to young and old at the same time, but I think that this is possible to do in a much better and more informative way. Instead of being defensive about what the Historium is now, perhaps accept these constructive observations as a way to improve it. I think that the Historium could be great, but now it misses the mark and is not worth the price.

Scam... Bruges deserves much better - Scam, it's clear... And super expensive for what it is. No historical interest... You are told a love story that is not even thrilling but what about the history of the city? And of the interest to bring to the many historical curiosities of Bruges. Historium is a tourist catch that finds its interest only in the computer performance of virtual glasses in particular. Very, very disappointing... Hyper disappointing and very expensive.
