- I was concerned that this would be a tacky and cheap experience, much like Hersheyland. But it turned out to be very immersive and instructive with multiple floors of historic information and finally a demonstration of praline making. The sad ending was the explanation that so many of the hundreds of chocolate shops in Bruges now sell machine made confections, instead of those made by hand. That lead us to explore the town's chocolate wares with more discerning eyes and taste buds.

Informative - From the discovery of cocoa beans to the spread and refinement to chocolate, everything is there. Audio-active guidance in all mgl. languages, with scanner similar to QR code. Not recommended for smaller children. I'm sure they'll get bored quickly... From 12 is okay... At the end we had 1/2 of a taste of chocolate, which you could of course buy in prepackaged bags.

Chocolate Experience - We visited the Chocolate Museum in Brugge during our trip to Belgium, the trip goes back to the beginning of chocolate, and does a trip trough the ages, if it is full be prepared to stand wait at points waiting for your turn to listers to the audio feature. Also be prepared to climb 3 flights of stairs on your way through the tour

Touring museum for chocolate lovers - It was a museum a little different from those we (at least) are used to, here it is all for audio guide we liked this part but there were very large audios and I admit that this made me lose a little focus and interest in the history in the middle of the museum. At the end we passed through a zone where we can taste some types of chocolates and at the end we can learn how to make our own chocolate at home, these parts we found very interesting and the gentleman who was giving the explanation was super friendly. Overall it was a tour experience but if you have attention deficit is not the best choice ahaha

Discovering chocolate - Visit not to be missed, positive interest whose place offers the history of chocolate from the beginning to the present day, very pleasant and educational. Visit made with an audio guide with the language of your country, description at each vignette. Visit made at his own pace. Only downside: a lot of stairs to climb.

Pass on this Museum - We’ve visited other chocolate museums in the United States, so we didn’t need the history of chocolate that bypasses the role of sugar and chocolate in the colonial slave trade. The free samples were not of good Belgian quality.
