Excellent taster of four different areas in Brooklyn. - This was a lovely whistle-stop tour of four parts of Brooklyn. Dani was really friendly and informative, giving lots of background on each area. She was happy to take photos of us at key sites and gave us plenty of recommendations for places to eat. It was great to walk around the area and benefit from her local knowledge.

If you haven't explored Brooklyn this is a must - Our guide was excellent, she knew the history well. She spoke clearly and was very considerate of the tour members. It seems like a lot of walking, but we got some nice breaks with the subway rides.

Fun and insightful - Dani was great. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic and energetic. Able to field all sorts of questions about Brooklyn. She could easily be a realtor! 😁. Took us to parts unknown and opened our eyes to the cultural diversity of the area. Need good walking shoes as we did 15000 steps!! Worth every penny

Don't miss this very special and insightful journey. A human side of NY you wouldn't usually get to see. - Thank you Danni for the best tour of our holiday. We did several walking tours in NY, Washington, Boston and toured several museums and galleries. It's easy to say that you are brilliant at your job. Not only do you have so much interesting information and offer a great perspective of the area but you engaged with everyone on the tour personally and respectfully. After negotiating so many logistics on my trip, it was so nice to be lead by you in a very well planned and organised manner - right down to waiting only one minute for each subway ride. I hope you continue following your passion for travel and sharing your enthusiasm with others. Maybe we'll see a mural of you in Bushwick one day! xo Andrew from Australia

Best Brooklyn tour I've seem - Of four or five tours of Brooklyn that I've taken, this is far and away the best. While a bit longer at 4.5 hours than other tours, the use of time was well worth it. The tour covered both popular neighborhoods such as "hipster" Williamsburg, but also touched on less visited places such as Satmar Williamsburg and Bushwick. Dani, our guide, is a longtime Brooklyn resident, but by way of her international roots, she is able to bring a worldly context into her commentary about local culture, politics, and architecture. She makes good use of visiting tourists, comfortably incorporating them into conversation. She's also quite ready to answer most probing questions -- and is quite funny to boot. Finally, at the close of the tour, she's quite adept at making further site-seeing recommendations and directing guests on how to get to the sites of their choice. Highly recommended.

Great, informative and humorous tour of Brooklyn! - Anyone who goes on a tour with Dani will discover NYC, in this case Brooklyn, from angles that you don't normally see. She took us to the hip part of Williamsburg, to the street art in Bushwick, then we visited a Jewish Orthodox community in South Williamsburg and finally we went to the brownstone houses in Cobble Hill and to Brooklyn Heights to enjoy a great view of Manhattan. There was a lot of information and stories about the individual neighborhoods, but not dry and boring, but with heart and humor. You can tell that Dani not only loves NYC, but lives it. If you're looking for a slightly different tour of NYC, this is the perfect place for you.

Very informative and exciting Brooklyn tour - We already know the usual spots in Manhattan, so we wanted to take a closer look at Brooklyn on this NYC trip. As we didn't know exactly what was worth seeing, we booked the Brooklyn tour with Dani. Dani guided us through the 5 most important districts of Brooklyn for a whole 5 hours. We started in Williamsburg, the so-called hipster neighbourhood. Then we went to Bushwick with its street art, followed by the neighbourhood of orthodox Jews in South Williamsburg. Finally, we strolled from Copple Hill with its brownstone buildings to Brooklyn Heights, the neighbourhood where the stars and starlets live, to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, where the tour ended. As Dani has lived in Brooklyn for 10 years, she was able to totally inspire us with her enormous and detailed knowledge, which she passed on to us in a very lively and exciting way with lots of stories and background information. You can tell how much she enjoys doing the tour. The 5 hours flew by and we are still very impressed. She also provided us with information after the tour and we learnt about the highly recommended food festival and the street art festival. We can absolutely recommend this tour.
