Talk about closeups with Lions - Travelled as a couple, we were very lucky on the day as we were the only couple on the tour. Tabo was our guide and he picked us up in a small car. Very comfortable and much better than a mini bus. Tabo was very informative about Johannesburg and surrounding areas and what the day entailed.
After a great trip, we arrived, Tabo got the ticket and 5 mins later we were on the truck. We were off, first animal you come across is a very friendly giraffe who comes right up to your truck window, very cool. Next you come across 2 lions, a big male and a female, they didn’t move much but in the pen we came across, the 3 males and 2 females were much more interactive and energetic, even got to see the male lion open his mouth right up.
We got to the cheetahs close up, hyenas, wild dogs and finally a leopard and black panther.

Such a fun activity and... - Such a fun activity and our guide Lebo made the drive to and from the park super memorable. It’s great for all ages, and you can even get in close contact with some of the friendlier animals. One of the highlights of my trip for sure.

Amazing experience ! - Booked through MoAfrika, our driver Tshepo was fantastic and shared information about Johannesburg on the way to the lion park. The park itself and safari are amazing, the animals are well looked after and the driver and guide share info on the animals as well as stop with plenty of opportunities for photos

10/10 - highly recommend - Tshepo was our driver/ transfer to the Lion park and was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
The park and tour guide were also amazing and would highly recommend.

Fefe is a great driver! - Fefe is a great driver! He was very kind and took really good care of us. He was on time in the morning and drove us on time to the park. He’s a very knowledgeable man, was sharing with us some of the tourist places around and famous places in South Africa with the history behind it. He showed us around the different cafes and exhibitions in the park. Once we arrived to the park, he got us our tickets and walked us to where the truck was for our Safari. At the end of our safari he stood to receive us back and was very flexible and patient. Fefe is a great driver! I’d recommend him to my friends if they visit.

Highly recommended !!! - I cannot recommend this experience highly enough! If your schedule does not allow for a visit to the major game parks or a full-day safari, I wholeheartedly suggest this encounter. Let me start by highlighting the punctuality of our guide, Cpho, who greeted us warmly at our accommodations. During our journey to the park, we engaged in a delightful conversation covering a multitude of topics. Cpho took care of our entry requirements and provided us with a brief overview of the park's facilities. After that, we were given a moment to enjoy a drink before it was time to board the safari truck. When the moment arrived, Cpho ensured that our tickets were in order and liaised with the park guides to facilitate a seamless experience. I cannot recommend this vendor and this activity highly enough!

A wonderful experience - Great time at lion park!
A small safari 1 hour from Johannesburg, perfect to see up close the lions, panthers and hyenas, too hard to find at the pilanesberg. Many very interesting explanations, very nice driver, in short we loved!

Nice Tour - Nice half day tour if you don’t have time for a full day safari. Limited choice of animals to see but all near vehicles for good photos.

1st time for everything! - This was a great experience. My sister and I stayed for 6 hours! We did the guided drive tour. Our guide was the best! He told wonderful jokes and really bonded with each person on the tour. He took pictures for us so we didn't have to struggle. The animals weren't super active but just being close to them was great.
We also did the Quad tour and that was AMAZING. It was our first time on ATVs and the guide did an excellent job of making sure we were comfortable before heading out. He took videos and pictures of us. We stopped next to the giraffes and got some excellent footage. This is a must do event!
