Ann van Dyk established this esteemed center in 1971, dedicating her life to the preservation of cheetahs and other endangered species. Situated in the North West Province of South Africa, near Brits and the Hartbeespoort Dam, it was the first facility globally to successfully breed cheetahs in captivity on a sustainable basis. The center’s successful breeding program was instrumental in removing the cheetah from South Africa’s endangered species list in 1986. Since its founding, over 600 cheetah cubs have been born there.

1:30 pm (1.5 hours): Afternoon guided tour. Guests will have the opportunity to see vultures, caracals, wild dogs, and the king cheetah. Available on Sunday at 1:30 pm.
