I never realised. - We really enjoyed finding out interesting facts about the city we have both lived in all our lives but had never realised. The 2 hour tour flew by , our guide was humorous and obviously a very passionate historian . I have remembered his stories and will be looking out with interest to see if there are future opportunities to learn more. We have already recommended the tour to friends. Bristol needs to invest in its tourism.

interesting and engaging tour - really enjoyed this tour. The tour guide was witty and informative on the history of Bristols blitz . The tour included photos and interesting artifacts. Would have liked a bit more time to look more closely at them but that's a very minor criticism.

Well worth it! - Super informative and at times moving. Great (Owen) presenter :-) The air raid shelter was real with period items to tie it all together.

An opportunity not to be missed. - Have only been living in the Bristol area for 2 years but learned so much about its history by taking this tour. Only knew about it because my 10 year old grandson was fortunate enough to have been taken on a school trip and he came home having taken in so much information. Duncan, the guide was knowledgeable and passionate and held everyone's attention throughout. He deserves so much credit for personally putting so much effort into giving the people of Bristol an opportunity to view the Air Raid Shelter and to understand its importance.

Excellent tour of such a significant part of Bristol’s history - I have lived in Bristol over 33 years and shame on me for not going on this fantastic tour sooner! The early history of Bristol and the Corn exchange followed by the walk around the air raid shelter was all fascinating. Our guide Duncan was so passionate about the place and the opportunity more broadly to create a best in class museum to show case such an important historical place in Bristol. It would be a tragedy if Bristol City Council got its way and repurposed the whole area.

Fabulous tour of the Bomb Shelter under St Nicholas Market - Fabulous tour -. Duncan the tour guide was unbelievably knowledgeable and passionate. This is a real gem and I do not understand why it has not been made into a museum. I have had 3 children go through the school system in Bristol and not have been here. It should be branded like the Churchill War Rooms in London. A definite must for those visiting Bristol and who live in Bristol.

Brilliant informative tour of a bit of Bristol with a eider context - As Bristolian I learnt so much history of St Nicholas market building where and how it came to be and in the context of Bristol's place as a port and in British history. Would totally recommend this to any visitors or indeed fellow Bristolians. Bristol City Council need to do everything they can to preserve this unique experience and more importantly the history on Bristol
