Recommended - A group of 5 of us did the Air Raid Shelter Walking Tour which was conducted by Duncan. It was part of a 4 day visit to Bristol and was one of the highlights of the visit. A special mention to the tour guide, Duncan, who was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Always great to visit hidden parts of cities and towns and this was one of the best. Thoroughly recommended.

Hidden Bristol - an eye opening reveal into Bristol's wartime past. - Not just a tour, but a truly brilliant immersive experience. This really brings the horrors of WWII bombing raids in Bristol alive. Some amazing reveals along the tour, many of which I was not aware of previously. Our tour guide, Duncan, was exceptional - so knowledgeable and very passionate about the subject. The layout of the shelter, contains many original artifacts, and some surprising items direct from 1940. Highly recommended. Paul

Do not miss this tour. - A group of friends and I were visiting Bristol and this tour was suggested. The knowledge and wit of Duncan was second to none. He conveyed his passion and enthusiasm for The Air Raid Shelter with eloquence and humour. More importantly his vision for an expansion of the same was inspirational. Do not miss this tour.

An outstanding tour, a walk through history that should not be missed! - What a brilliant tour! There had been a lot of research and hard work gone into this tour, Duncan is brilliant and he deserves to get the shelter protected and turned into museum to protect the heritage that sits under the ground. Duncan deserves recognition for what he has achieved here and more help to complete what he has started.

An Unforgettable Experience with Duncan! - Absolutely incredible! The Bristol air raid tour was one of the most engaging and moving experiences I’ve had in a long time. Duncan is a phenomenal guide — knowledgeable, passionate, and an incredible storyteller. He brought the history of Bristol during the Blitz to life with such detail and emotion that it felt like stepping back in time. You can tell he genuinely cares about preserving these stories and sharing them with others. If you’re in Bristol, do not miss this tour. Duncan makes it unforgettable. A special mention to Alan for keeping Margret at bay!
