- Lovely place by the beach front. Not big, but with a lot of..fish 😊 Well deserved a visit if you are in the area. Children can be easily entertained.

good - Enjoyable visit with grandchildren aged 5 and 7. Would have appreciated more comprehensive signage around exhibits to enable me to deal with the many questions they had.

🐟🐠🦈 Magical 🦈🐠🐟 - Upon leaving Sea Life Brighton I turned to my husband and said "that was so magical"... I found the experience deeply relaxing and immersive. I felt a little bit emotional when I saw the beautiful big sea turtle swim past me, It reminded me how blessed we are to live on this planet and the duty of care we have to all creatures "great and small". I think Sea Life Brighton would be a really fun and thought provoking experience for people of all ages and levels of interest. Thank you 💙 Just a couple of points to consider; 1) Signage is not very clear, So I fear that some people who have given lower ratings may have actually missed some of the more epic parts. The layout is a bit confusing 2) I did find the venue claustraphobic in parts, especially when it was busy. I do understand aquariums have to be created a certain way and that can't be helped. But I feel the need to make others aware.

Lovely day out - Beautiful aqarium, The turtles where just wow 👌 I feel a few of the enclosures could have done with more enrichment for the animals but that was only the octopus and the sea horses I do hope they review those ! The range of thigs where beautiful I absolutely loved the mantas the teddy's the pictures at the end oh so cute I would say on our visit only one staff member spoke to us and the part where you wash your hands where a little blah all we got is don't touch unless you wash your hands and this is a sharks egg....... All in all though I'd say it was a lovely 3 hour visit and I would be likely to go again if I come back to Brighton I took over 300 pics it was hard to get good ones with some of the lights and my terrible phone but still loved trying

Much bigger than I expected - We liked the turtles, didn't realise they ate broccoli. Well organised. If to had been dry we would have come by bus, but drove in the rain, parking was expensive

Wonderful Aquarium - Wonderful aquarium, I took some fantastic videos. We spent about 80 mins in there looking at all the fishes, octopuses, turtles e.t.c. It's a little confusing where to go next, they could do with signposting the route a bit better but that's a small issue. I bought a photo booklet with a picture of us in a boat surrounded by an Octopus which looked cool. Price of photo could have done with being cheaper then I would have bought more. Overall I really recommend going.

Average accessibility poor - Went with my two toddlers with the pram. On arrival found out there was stairs, so accessibility was not great. There was a sign saying you had to cross the road and go down the ramp blah blah ten minutes later so ended up carrying the pram downstairs. We pre-booked and got in pretty quick. One slightly annoying thing as soon as you go in they have a photo shoot which you have to wait to pass through. The aquarium itself is quite small so glad i went on a blue light discount. The eating area only enough to seat maybe 30 people. I would say a one and done experience, thankfully the pier is right there so able to make a full day of it.

The most unfriendly SEND venue I have ever experienced - Signage is horrific. No clear signs at all about step free entrance causing me to lose half a hour going round and round trying to find it. Then once inside there is no signage on the floor or anywhere really that makes any sense. Then there is a sign taking about going for a swim which a staff member said was “their branding” but which is the most unhelpful thing you could write for children who are ASC and literal. Quite possibly the most anti-SEND venue you could possibly imagine. Weird steps, levels, ropes and never ending tempting rocks/rocky areas to climb everywhere. No help on hand, no welcome, a soulless revolving door tourist trap. Better to watch Blue Planet.
