Distillery and beach time - A family group of six of us went on the tour with Atiya, who was lively and informative. It was fun to learn the history and the production process, especially since I’m a big fan of Planteray Pineapple Rum. Afterwards we had a snack and hung out on the beach for a few hours. Very pleasant.

Perfect experience and hospitality! - You can't beat a historic distillery experience on the water! It was a highly curated and charming experience. We were greeted warmly with a rum punch and escorted inside. We were given water and a hard hat for safety. Our tourguide was very warm and knowledgable. We were shown the pot stills and fermenting tanks. Talked through the fermtation and distillery process. Then, we toured the barrel warehouse and sample rums at various stages of aging. Afterwards, we ordered some rum specialty drinks at the beach cafe and and had a wonderful lunch. I can hardly wait to go back!

Highlight of my rum road - As a rum geek, even though I visited every distillery on Martinique, St Lucia, St Vincent, and several in Guadeloupe, my visit here was the highlight of my trip. It was a full tour, being able to see everything from the molasses fermenting, the full set of stills, to trying rum straight out of the barrel. Great thanks to my amazing guide Saraih who is extremely knowledgeable and a delight to be around. And I had the extreme good luck to meet Alexandre Gabriel, who was the exemplar of a gracious host and was able to taste some extremely delicious, high ester rums I didn't even know was possible in Barbados.

Great tour of a distillery making tasty rums, with an excellent guide. - Great tour, very interesting and informative about the history of Barbados rum, all the way to the present. Our guide Asha was excellent. She is very knowledgeable, with a fantastic personality and sense of humor. We also met the distillery owner and talked with him for a few minutes -- very dedicated to the craft. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU MAKE TIME FOR THIS. It is just a short ride from downtown Barbados, with a "secret" bonus, a quiet beach with chairs and umbrellas away from the crowds, and a drinks bar right at the beach. Wish we had time to go back for a longer day.
