Really enjoyable rum... - Really enjoyable rum tasting. I also recommend the Stades Bond No.8 rum in the gift shop after your tour, it goes great with a soda mixer.

What a fab day - Great day out..arrived 10:30 with a welcome cocktail. Then lounged on beach until rum tasting started 11:30 I forget the engaging hosts name but she was very fun and informative as she described the background of rum production at stades . We sampled 5 different rums and were all quite giddy by the end.. back to the beach followed by a nice lunch followed by the beach then some lovely cocktails ( repeat) all in all I would highly recommend to anyone who loves rum/ beach combined

The best experience hands... - The best experience hands down ,the staff was amazing, I learnt a lot about the history of Stade’s and tasted a few of their signature rums, the food was great and the beach view was a 10/10, will definitely be back :)

Great day out - We had a great day at Stade’s, the rum tasting was fun and informative with a view to die for as we were sipping a selection of great rums.
The beach stay afterwards was perfect, we had the beach to ourselves and enjoyed some super cocktails and a tasty lunch from the bar.
We would happily visit again and would recommend a visit for anyone who enjoys rum.

A really fun experience.... - A really fun experience. The host was knowledgeable and engaging. The property was nice and well kept. The beach was gorgeous! I do recommend.

Perfect combo of Rum, beach and food. - The rum tasting and beach club were great. Ideal way to learn more about the history of the distillery, have a nice rum and enjoy the day at a private beach. Perfect combo!

Taste of Barbados - Asher was fantastic with the rum tasting. Joy, Tano, Troy, and Barry were equally impressive. The rum tasting was not only educational and entertaining but also incredibly delicious. The entire staff was incredibly polite and courteous to all the guests. I highly recommend the tours and the food. It’s an A+++.

Nice beach and good rum - We enjoyed our day on the beach. The rum tasting was nice and we tried five different kinds of rum. Very informative and nice. But the history was quickly run through by showing us posters on a wall. Here we would have liked to know more. They have a few beach chairs with umbrellas on the beach. We were the only ones that stayed to enjoy the beach. The beach is beautiful and has soft white sand. Had a nice lunch on the deck. It was at a good price. But they made a mistake on my order and instead of making me a new plate they just tried to scrape off the sauce from the battered chicken. Disappointing.
Also the rum was more expensive here than in the supermarket, which was also disappointing. We were hoping for a discounted price buying it at the destillery.
We took the local bus from Hastings and got off at Black rock and walked about 1km. It's a bit of a hill to walk back to the bus stop. So take a cab if you have trouble walking.
Seems to be possible to rent horses and ride on the beach in the morning.
