Bremer Bay is located 5 hours drive south east of Perth, Western Australia in the pristine Great Southern Region. It is from this small township during the months of January to March we journey to the edge of the continental shelf to discover a natural phenomenon that attracts a congregation of the worlds most mysterious and rarely seen predators including the Orca, Sperm Whale, Beaked Whale and Pilot Whales.

Orca’s Ahoy - Just WOW! Cruised out 90 mins into the Southern Ocean, beyond sight of land and met up with a pod of Orca’s that seemed genuinely happy to see the boat and came over to find us. Spent 4 hours drifting along with them as they cruised around hunting and diving, before heading back towards land. An amazing experience to be up close to the animals and see how they lived very in the wild.
If you do get sea, sick make sure you take medication before hand! We had a relatively calm day but it is the Southern Ocean, swells of +3m and once you slow down and start following the whales, the motion gets worse than where you were speeding out to start with.
Also Bremer Bay is a long way from anywhere, make sure you bring what you need for the night with you or arrive early in the afternoon before the local store close.

Worth every penny. - A truly amazing day. Seeing a blue whale had been on my bucket list. We saw not one but two! There were pilot whales by the dozen, they looked spectacular. We happened to come across the orca just as they had made a kill. This attracted sea birds including an albatross. We followed the family of orca for quite sometime. They were very playful with us. Swimming next to and underneath the boat. The staff couldn’t do enough for everyone. They were so helpful and knowledgeable and did everything possible to make the day special.

Fabulous experience - We had a fabulous day seeing both Orcas and pilot whales. The crew were lovely, attentive and informative. I highly recommend this experience.

Great experience - Great experience the sea was wrought but the Orca’s were spectacular. They were absolutely everywhere and so close

THE BEST DAY EVER! - This is an easy 200/10! The WWWA team gave us an amazing experience I will never forget. The family-orientated staff who have been working with these orcas for 8 years were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and answered all questions we had. They were environmentally conscious and always made sure to prioritise the wellbeing of the animals before all else, which is so important considering how mistreated these orcas are in captivity in other countries. It was like we were a part of the pod as the orcas swam right up to the boat to say hi and we saw over 60 at once (which apparently is quite lucky!). I love orcas so much and I am so blessed that this company gave me the opportunity to see them in action in the wild. Check out these photos we took - so incredible!

Orca Dinner - I didn't take any sea sickness tablets having recently been on a motor yacht from Gold Coast to Sydney and being OK BUT whilst I didnt vomit I got close seeing what seemed like half the boat vomiting. Crew were great at handling everyone but TAKE THE ADVICE and take some tablets the night before and in the morning as it is rough!
Once we got to the end of the continental shelf and we sore the Orcas I was distracted enough to be fine and really appreciate what we were able to witness. A pod devouring their dinner - sadly another whale but we didn't see that at the time. Just lots of Orca's loving life. The shearwater birds and an albatross all taking advantage of scraps making it an amazing experience.
I was able to take some good photos from up front on my phone and some videos but having the professional photos free to download was an added bonus !
Really recommend the trip just take tablets as it is the big wide bumpy ocean!

Great experience BUT take anti sickness tablets!!! - Great experience, BUT be aware to take sickness tablets night before or on the day as there were a lot of people that were sick on the boat. It is very rough out there! Also would have liked to of heard what the lady was saying on the speaker but where we were too it was very difficult to hear anything and didn’t want to move and leave our spot. Every time they spotted whales they would move the boat to the left instead of giving each side a good look. But overall good experience another one ticked off of the bucket list.

We actually saw orcas! ... - We actually saw orcas!
Very difficult to hear the commentary from the outside top deck. This was the only disappointing aspect of the trip.
