A great day trip - We took a wonderful walking tour with Patrick as our guide. Bratislava is beautiful and historic and so much more personal with our new guide friend who went way out of his way to make sure we got everything we needed and wanted done in our limited time.

Four Hour Walking Tour of Bratislava - We highly recommend considering this tour as a nice introduction to Bratislava. We did it in mid December as part of a Christmas Market vacation that included Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest, and the tour was a nice way to get to know more about the city prior to heading out on our own later that evening. Our tour guide Martin met us at our hotel and made us feel comfortable that the tour could be tailored to meet our needs and interests - for example ducking in places in Old Town to warm-up and pacing ourselves on the walk up to Bratislava Castle.

Outstanding Walking Tour of the City of Bratislava, Slovakia - Peter Blazicek of Best Slovakia Tours took 12 of us good friends on a city walking tour of Bratislava. Peter gave us a comprehensive historical explanation of Bratislava's 1000 years of this city's importance in the country of Slovakia and its connection to Europe. Bratislava is strategically located on the Danube River. Bratislava's history dates back to the 5th and 6th century AD. Bratislava was the Slavic Empire of the country's largest city. Peter also explained how Bratislava became the capital of the First Slovak Republic in 1939. We walked from the lower portion of the city to the castle which was built in the 9th century. This castle sits a top a hill above the Danube and provides a marvelous view of the city. Eleven kings and eight queens were crowned in Bratislava. The old town has a Gothic architecture and was built in the 14th century. Our tour ended at a traditional authentic Koliba restaurant; Peter showed us what to order on the menu.

Great tour with a local! - We had a great walking tour of Bratislava with Peter. He was knowledgeable, fun, showed us the sights, and explained the food in the Christmas markets which we sampled to our delight. Peter was not only informative, but flexible. We would recommend him without reservation!

100% Great! - I highly recommend Best Slovakia Tours. They were extremely professional, with amazing communications prior to our visit. Peter was everything you could ask for in a tour guide: knowledgable, courteous, and engaging. Although we only had time for the four-hour tour of Bratislava, we would definitely use this tour company for other trips. Thank you, Peter!

Excellent, Enchanting Tour of Bratislava - The name says it all! Best Slovakia Tours! Peter was a perfect guide! While he toured us through Bratislava, his lovely little-big capital, he provided history and details about the sights and moved at a very comfortable pace. I highly recommend this tour when visiting Bratislava you don't want to miss out on the details that are provided which help secure your memories of this truly wonderful gem of a capital! My hope is to return again and book a tour that includes more of Slovakia as Peter and Bratislava made me want to see more!

Good tour - The tour should be 3 and not 4 hours. It was nice and enjoyable. Our young guide shared interesting local facts and typical approaches in Bratislava. An improving area is that more neutral or generic opinions would be better received. Private tours are always more enjoyable than big groups.
