Great experience - It was a great experience. It took about 35min from Tamarindo to Brasilien where we got on the horses. The guide was really nice and helpful and even showed us some mine keys on the way. We went all the way to Conchal and back. It also started raining on our way back but it was still a unique experience to me. Only wish it would've been longer!

Written by two ten year olds :-) - This horseback riding experience was amazing! The horses were friendly and tame. We felt very safe while riding. I highly recommend this place! Rolo was the perfect horse. - Emma. Monkey was perfect for me! He trotted when I told him he needed to catch up, he stoped when I told him to, and was such a good listener! I would give a five star rating! This was so fun!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🥳 - Shea

Recommend for everyone! - Phenomenal tour with incredible views. Horses were calm and well cared for. Andre was a fantastic tour guide and we had a break to swim at Conchal beach. Way less crowded than Tamarindo beach and everyone there is so nice.

Seemed to be more self-guided for us… - A very nice relaxing ride on the beach. Beautiful views. Started off weird, though, and did not get much “guidance”. Arrival: We arrived at the meeting point 5 mins early (like they requested) since we were driving in and were not able to be picked up and we didn’t see anyone coming to meet in the parking lot, so we walked across the street to the only group of horses we saw. They said our booking wasn’t with them. Shortly after, we saw a guy riding a motorcycle with 3 horses running behind him. He checked our ticket and got us on the horses … then another couple came up and showed their tickets and this guy said “sorry, wrong ticket number” to us and had us get off the horses. (Of course this was that company’s mistake, not the mistake of the company we booked with). At that point, we walked back to the parking lot but there were no other horses in sight. I had to turn on my data on my phone in order to contact the company through Viator and we stood there for about 5 minutes looking around and got a message from Viator saying they will let the guide know we are here. Right after that, we saw someone (our guide) running up from the street. He was tucked away with the horses further down the beach where we couldn’t really see him from meeting point. Then once we got there, we were still waiting for another couple to get shuttled in. If they tell you to meet at the Patagonia Del Mar, you may need to go looking for them. In this case he was to the left of the restaurant on the beach side right where the trees start. Ride/Guide: The views were so beautiful and we were lucky to have sunshine and a nice breeze the day we went. (We had a 9am start time, which I recommend during the hotter months & rainy season since the showers have typically been in the afternoon). I wish I had learned more about the area on our ride, but our guide only pointed out the major hotels that we passed by and a few animals in the jungle part of the path as well as the names of the last beach we ended up on. He was pretty far ahead of most of us most of the time and seemed to not speak English to us very much. A little expensive for it to just be a ride without any additional knowledge about the area, but it was a nice fun experience for my husband and I. Our horses seemed to get along and sometimes would walk next to each other close enough for us to hold hands for a bit 😊 halfway through, we ended up at a little smoothie bar and got some refreshing smoothies. Option to get in the water, but we were only taking a break for about 20 minutes before heading back and didn’t want to jam wet feet back into our socks and tennis shoes, so we just enjoyed the view.
