Great dinner in the fresh air of the mountains of Transylvania - This was a really good experience. It combined a drive through a beautiful part of Romania with a dinner served outdoors in a lovely setting. The dinner was hosted by a local woman who has lived in the village for years. She spoke no English, but fortunately our guide translated. The food was delicious and it was fun to hear about the recipes and how the food is prepared. Our guide/translator was outstanding, during the drive to the village he related a lot of information on the history and culture of Romania. Rather expensive, but I thought it was worth it. Highly recommended.
