First rate private tour with Toni - My husband and I enjoyed a 3 day tour of Transylvania with Toni. What an incredible experience. Toni is a great guide very knowledgeable, kind and friendly and it was a great introduction to our first visit to Romania. We visited Peles Castle, from the outside it looks like a grand Bavarian castle. The rooms are lavishly decorated. We then went onto Bran castle which does look like a Vampire’s home with its turrets and steep stairs. We stayed overnight in Brasov a lovely medieval town. On the second day we visited Prejmer fortified church, now on UNESCO’S world heritage list. On to Sighisoara, the citadel is spectacular on a rocky outcrop. Its the birthplace of Vlad Tepes, the implayer. We stayed overnight in Sibiu. The following day we did a walking tour of Sibiu with its lovely painted houses, churches ,nice local restaurants and welcoming atmosphere. On the way back to Bucharest visited Cozia monastery the earliest example of Byzantine architecture in Wallachia. Toni was a safe and careful driver, the car was very comfortable and clean. Toni gave us tips on what to eat and where, which was very helpful. I would definitely recommend booking your tours with Toni. Thanks once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with you. Fun - I loved the game. It was a fun way to explore Brasov, and learn about the history of the city. I did not know a lot of things. So it was fun, we had a nice walk all around Brasov, and we learned to. I do recommend. (Reviewed at: 2024-10-23)
