Florin is fabulous - We travelled to Brasov to visit Bran castle and do site seeing around the beautiful Translyvania countryside. I found Brasov tours after researching online for a tour guide and we booked with Florin for 2 days. We were a party of 5 and he met us at the train station so we could start our day out. Right from the start he was welcoming and friendly, and really patient. When we arrived at Bran castle we didn't have to wait in the long lines as he managed to get us in front of very big bus tours that had arrived at the same time. It seemed that Florin knew everyone there lol. He was very protective of all of us and always made sure we were kept together and not disrupted by other people or groups. When I say Florin is a fountain of knowledge I am not exaggerating. I have no idea how he manages to remember all of the things he does. It was remarkable the amount of detail he knew about every single thing at the castle and again later beyond that on our travels. After the castle we travelled back to Brasov and he gave us a detailed tour of the city. We ate lunch at a local restaurant and then were taken to see as much of the city as time allowed. You can tell how much Florin loves his job in every single thing he says and does. He is always very honest and forthright in conversation and always offers options best suited to you and your group. The second day we went to Peles Palace and the salt mines. Again we were almost straight to the front of the lines and weren't made to wait long to start our tours. Florin's love for his country and his job made this whole experience that much more enjoyable. I was quite sick on the second day and when I say Florin couldn't do enough to help I am not exaggerating. He was so patient and understanding and when it was clear that I couldn't handle a 90 minute drive through the mountains he went out of his way to take us to the closest train station so we could get back to Bucharest. We had to stop several times so I could be sick and not once was I made to feel rushed or like a burden. I can't tell you how much that meant to me and my friends. I cannot praise this gentleman enough and I am so very happy and grateful that we chose him to be our guide. If you want the best tour guide in the area Florin is your man.

Excellent day trip from Brasov - The Transfagarasan road needs no introduction. It's a well known beautiful road. The road starts with beautiful dense jungle and then as we move up, the landscape changes drastically from green (in our case green, rust and yellow) to almost barren mountain range. The lake is absolutely spectacular. But what makes this trip with Florin so memorable is that, the trip doesn't end there. It's a full day trip from Brasov and it starts from Brasov and makes a circular trip along Transfagarasan highway, Bran Castle and more. The landscape changes almost every hour from forest to mountain to lake to waterfall to beautiful valley. Florin had his own beautiful view points chosen where we could take nice pictures. He never asked us to hurry or anything. He was patient with our non stop questions about Romanian history or culture. He is full of nice funny and interesting stories. To summarise, it was an excellent day spent with Florin. We traveled more than 400 kms, passed 5-6 mountains, many towns, got a view of probably the most beautiful part of Carpathian Mountains. The icing on th cake, we even saw a brown bear on the road.

Great tour guide and tour! - Really enjoyed my day with Florin! He did a great job of getting me to Biertan, Sighişoara, and Viscri all in one day. Really nice balance of guided tours and free roaming. I enjoyed being able to relax and take everything in, instead of renting a car and trying to get around myself. Thank you for a great adventure!

Great 2 days - Florin was great with my 6 year old daughter and me. We did 2 tours with him including the castle tour and the bear sanctuary and highway tour. We had a great 2 days. We didn’t have to wait in any lines at the castles even though there were tons of people there. This guy has connections. He brought my daughter some apples and a couple little toys and she adored him for that. He went above and beyond and we had a great 2 days. He also was on time and gets you places in a timely manner. I highly recommend him for your tours. Write him on WhatsApp for the best prices! He also took some great pictures of us!

Amazing tour to Bran, Peles, Pelisor and Sinaia Monastry - We did a tour with Florin to Bran Castle, Pelisor Castel and Peles Castle. Initially it was planned that we also visit Rasnov Fortress, but as it is currently undergoing renovations, Florin suggested to see Sinaia Monastry and it was a beautiful alternative. Florin knows a lot about all the places and the history and shared interesting details with us. He's very easy to talk to and super welcoming. He made this tour and our day very special. We can warmly recommend him and his tours.
