Highlights
 • Brasov Historical Center - Meet your group in Braşov Old Town for your 2-hour walking tour. Then, before setting out, get a rundown of Braşov’s history from your guide as a curtain raiser to your explorations. Hear about Brasov’s ancient origins and role as an important market town in medieval Transylvania. Each sight on your tour has a tale behind it, so follow your guide around to unravel their secrets.

Admire Piata Sfatului, the pretty main square and once the hub of medieval city life. Take in the pink-and-peach-colored houses and admire the Council House (Casa Sfatului) at the center, with its Trumpeter’s Tower. View some of the towers that were part of Braşov’s medieval fortifications, and walk along cobbled Rope Street (Strada Sforii), a walkway that’s said to be the narrowest lane in Eastern Europe. As you stroll, gaze up at the Hollywood-style ‘Brasov’ sign perched in the hills above.

Very nice way to learn Brasov local history with a local guide - I really like the walking tours in European cities, and this one was just as rewarding and informative as other ones in other countries. Medieval European cities are so compact, walking around with a guide is the only effective way to learn about the buildings and historical details. Our guide in Brasov was knowledgable and friendly. Well done.

We met Balazs in the main square in... -
We met Balazs in the main square in Brasov. He arrived on time. He has excellent knowledge on the history of the town. He made it a great experience. He is a very friendly guy with a great sense of humour. We are facebook friends now! He took us round the church in the town square and the Eastern Orthodox church just outside the town centre which was really interesting. Also went to a Museum of the town and then we walked up to a medieval tower from where we got a great view overlooking the town. He also recommended us some great restaurants and bars to go to within Brasov. Would recommend the tour to everyone especially if they only have a limited amount of time to spend in the town.
