Tribute show of artists from the seventies! - Great performances by all singers, dancers and band members. They dressed and sang the artist they represented to perfection.

Shawn Barker’s The Man in Black Excellent Tribute - My husband and I attended the Man in Black tribute performance at the Legends Theater in Branson August 6, 2025. My husband is a huge Johnny Cash fan. He saw him perform live in 1971 and he loved Shawn Barker’s performance. Barker truly embodies Johnny Cash - he looks and sounds just like him. The show was high energy. The band was excellent. The backup singers provided an extra treat because Barker’s wife sang the part of June Carter. All in all well worth the price of admission.

A step back in time - A good rendition of our familiar history from the 80's. The artists were portrayed well and they were realistic and fun. It has got to be very difficult to play to a small crowd at 3:00 on a Monday afternoon. This was also a very geriatric crowd, and it showed with the very minimal amount of audience participation.

Incredible show! Incredible talent! Incredible entertainment! - The Legends 80s show was so amazing! Thoroughly entertaining! We always see a Legends show when we come to Branson, and we loved the 80s show. The Blue's Brothers are always so fun!. Freddie Mercury stole the show! He had that entire theater wildly enjoying themselves. The energy was pulsing! I can't wait to go again. I bought tickets that day for the same show in a few weeks.

This was a great show - We were pleasantly surprised by how good this show was. There is an assortment of tribute artists who do a great deal to make the entertainers come to life. The artists we saw imitated Rod Stewart, Cindy Lauper, The Blues Brothers, Madonna, and Freddie Mercury. The Blues Brothers had Dan Akroyd and John Belushi down pat. If you didn't know better, you would swear you were watching the actual Blues Brothers. The Madonna impersonator did a great job, and Madonna's act is so physical, it's very demanding for anyone. The only reason I'm giving this show a 4 is that I wasn't too impressed with the visual from the Freddy Mercury impersonator. Impersonating Freddy is a tall order, and although his vocals were good, the real Freddy Mercury had a unique voice and would be impossible for anyone to match, even Adam Lambert. The thing that bothered me most about his performance was that he did his whole act in a leather jacket and sunglasses. Freddy did not do that. And he did not really command the stage and show charisma like Freddy did. But no one can command a stage like Freddy did. Nobody. Good show and worth it. Go see it.

Misleading advertising - The group photo in the advertising shows Michael Jackson, Willie Nelson, Reba McIntire?, Blues Brothers and Elvis. None of those entertainers were in the actual performance except the Blues Brothers (who did an excellent job). Nevertheless, the show was very entertaining.

It was okay - The Blues Brothers were very good. The portrayal of Freddie Mercury was very good also. The rest was just okay. I wanted to like it more.
