Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle) - Known as Dracula’s Castle, Bran Castle was constructed in the 14th century and gained fame through Irish author Bram Stoker. Visitors will encounter legends, spirits, ghosts, and numerous mysteries at Dracula’s Castle. Bran Castle transports visitors back to the 14th century, a time of simplicity. The castle showcases Gothic architecture, built on a boulder in a valley to oversee the border and guard the entrance to Transylvania. Its tall walls, cold, sturdy towers, and mysterious rooms create the perfect atmosphere to relive medieval times when guards patrolled and Dracula was said to have tortured thousands.

Rasnov Citadel: Garden and Panoramic View - Rasnov Fortress is strategically positioned, with its tall walls still standing strong after nearly 700 years. The fortress served to protect villagers during attacks. Visitors can explore the ruins of a Catholic chapel, defense towers, and the remains of approximately 80 houses, a school, and a water well dug by two prisoners, reaching a depth of 146 meters.

Libearty Bear Sanctuary Zarnesti - This visit includes the largest brown bear sanctuary in Eastern Europe, home to about 110 brown bears. Romania boasts the largest population of brown bears in Europe, with around 6,000 specimens. Both adult bears and cubs reside in the sanctuary. Before arriving here, they lived in captivity or were rescued from other areas in Romania where survival was challenging. Tourists will be charmed by the playful bears, have opportunities to take photos, and can even adopt a bear, contributing to a better life for the sanctuary’s residents.

Expect to discover an array of legends, spirits, ghosts, and numerous enigmas within the walls of Dracula’s castle. Lastly, we will explore the Rasnov fortress, erected in the 13th century atop a rocky hill, offering an unparalleled panoramic view of the surrounding valley. This location’s strategic advantage is evident as it was only once conquered in 1611.
