MARRAKECH - OUARZAZATE - BOUMALNE DADES
Ait Ben Haddou - Departing from Marrakech, we journey over the Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260m), the highest road pass in Morocco. We take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding areas, including the winding road. On our way to Ouarzazate, we visit the fortified and renowned Ksars Kasbahs of Aït Benhaddou. We then continue through Ouarzazate, admire the beauty of the Valley of the Roses in Kellat Mgouna, leave the main road, and drive to the Dades valley. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Ouarzazate - We stop to view the cinema studios from the outside and then proceed to Ouarzazate to visit another world heritage fortified Kasbah, the old palace of Pacha El Glaoui, the Kasbah Taourirt.
Vallee Des Roses - We make a brief stop in this stunning valley to visit a women’s cooperative that distills rose water and produces various items from the beautiful Damask roses.
Dades Gorges - We enjoy the picturesque road of the 1000 kasbahs to reach the Dades Gorges and its impressive canyon, where we spend the night in a guest house or hotel.
Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Sahara
Todgha Gorge - After breakfast, we depart from the Dades Gorges towards the magnificent canyons and gorges of Todra. We take a walk through the canyon and the palm oasis of Tinghir, then continue to Tinjdad for lunch at a local restaurant.
Merzouga - We arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon, where you are greeted with mint tea and embark on a camel trek through the Erg Chebbi sand dunes to witness the stunning sunset over the golden dunes. We then spend the night in a desert camp under Berber nomadic tents, with a luxury desert camp option available at an extra cost.
Merzouga Transfer by Taxi or Public Bus to Fes
Merzouga - Wake up early to watch the spectacular sunrise and see the sand change color with the rising sun. Then, ride camels back to the hotel to meet your driver-guide.
Azrou Cedar Forest - Pass through the Azrou cedar forest.
Ifrane - We make a brief stop in this charming French-style city, Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its beautiful landscapes and architecture.

En route to Ouarzazate, we will visit the kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. In Ouarzazate, we will explore the Kasbah Taourirte, the Roses Valley, and the Dades Gorges. We will enjoy a walk in Todra Gorges, experience a camel ride in Merzouga, and spend a night in a desert camp. Additionally, we will explore the palm grove of Ziz Valley and encounter Barbary wild monkeys in the Azrou cedar forest.
