This 7-kilometer (5-mile) trek provides a unique combination of adventure, breathtaking scenery, and cultural immersion. Beginning at Auberge Kasbah Ait Merghad, the guide will greet participants with a hike briefing and a bottle of water. The adventure starts with a descent to the Dades River, where participants will learn about traditional farming, irrigation systems, and local flora. A 30-minute walk through the lush Valley of Roses and fig trees leads to the stunning Dades Canyon, where participants will spend 1.5 hours canyoning among towering sandstone cliffs and distinctive rock formations.

Take a moment to relax and savor coffee, nuts, and dates in the peacefulness of the canyon before ascending to its summit for 360-degree panoramic views of the Dades Valley and surrounding Berber villages. Conclude the hike with a cultural tour of historic kasbahs and ancient granaries, uncovering the rich Amazigh heritage.
