Amazing Grand Canyon Sunset Experience - Wow! That's simply all I can say because I’m still speechless. The tour was simply amazing. Our Grand Canyon sunset tour guide, Jimmy V, was so kind, knowledgeable about the history of the area, wonderful to be with, and funny! This guy made our excursion the best part of our trip. At the Grand Canyon for sunset, a monsoon came across and we waited it out. It paid off because the sunset and the lightning storm that followed were gorgeous (see attached pics). The roads started to flood over but none of us panicked because our guide stopped driving and let the water pass. Other drivers followed suit and we all waited for the water to recede for about 45 minutes. Then we pulled over at Joshua Tree and lightning pics over the trees.
There’s absolutely no way we could ever repeat our Grand Canton experience.
