• Makgadikgadi Pans National Park - Enjoy a fantastic game drive, complete with a picnic lunch, within the Makgadikgadi Pans. Due to the limited migration of animals in and out of the pan, visitors can anticipate sightings of lions, elephants, zebras, jackals, antelopes, meerkats, and a variety of bird species. The Driver/Guide will stay in communication with other safari drivers and will impress with their ability to find elusive animals.

Several observation towers provide a comprehensive view of the entire park. The Makgadikgadi Pans themselves are a salty desert, with the only vegetation being a thin layer of blue-green algae.

Day 3

Makgadikgadi-Maun

Begin the day with an early morning game drive at Makgadikgadi Pans. Following this, return to Maun, arriving in the afternoon, and proceed with a transfer to the airport for further travel plans.

In the morning, the operator will travel 192 km in a safari game viewer vehicle on a paved road with a professional guide to Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, located southeast of the Okavango Delta and encircled by the Kalahari Desert. The Makgadikgadi Pan is a salt pan positioned in the heart of the dry savanna in northeastern Botswana and is among the largest salt flats globally.
