• Granary Burying Ground - This leads us to the ancient Granary Burying Ground! Established in 1660, it is Boston’s third-oldest burial ground. Imagine the changes over the past 400 years! This site is so old it even holds the grave of Mother Goose, whose stories we still hear today! We’ll also visit the graves of American icons like Paul Revere, Robert Paine, and James Otis. • Bunker Hill Monument - Finally, we’ll follow the Freedom Trail to the Bunker Hill Monument, built to commemorate the Battle of Bunker Hill. We’ll explore this hill, understanding the brutality and intensity of the battle for freedom. This site marks the end of our comprehensive tour along Boston’s historic Freedom Trail.
• John Ward House - At the Joshua Ward House, next, you’ll glimpse what remains of the residence once belonging to Sheriff George Corwin, who signed the arrest and execution warrants of those accused of witchcraft.
• Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church - After that, you’ll arrive at St Peter’s Episcopal Church, which sits on land the town confiscated after the owners, accused of witchcraft, left town.
