Alissa—Terrific Freedom Trail Guide - Alissa was our tour guide. I don’t normally write reviews, but she was one of the best tour guides I’ve seen, and I have seen quite a few. She was funny, engaging, and full of stories that brought context to events in a light-hearted way. My son and I came from NY for a short trip, because we both love history. I worked in textbook publishing for years before becoming a psychologist, and I always bemoaned the constraints placed on us in writing history textbooks—we had to take out the most exciting pieces. Her presentation was engaging and funny, and she was considerate of everyone’s comfort. She’s a gem. One fellow on the street exclaimed how lucky we were to have her, expressing his opinion that she was the sweetest of the guides. She made us want to return to Boston to see what we didn’t have time to see. I suggest you give her a raise and put her on as many tours as you can. She’s a delight! Sincerely, Dr. Lauren Bodkin

Great Experience! - Stewart was a great guide and had a lot o knowledge on historical events. We went on a day that was in the high 80s and it was hot with very little shade. If it is a hot day try to go earlier in the morning not the afternoon! I was able to do the whole experience while holding my baby! very easy walk.

Lots to learn but not enough to see. - Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable but a lot of the tour was standing and listening to a history lesson, which although was interesting, was a bit challenging at times due to being in such a large group. I do think if I were doing it again I'd opt to pay a more and go with a company that guarantees a smaller group. Overall it was good, just not great.
