Embark on a cruise around Boston Harbor aboard the classic 1920s-style Yacht Northern Lights. Enjoy the comfort of the indoor grand salon or head to the top outdoor deck for expansive views of the Harbor. Noteworthy sights include stunning views of Boston’s skyline, Old North Church, Bunker Hill Monument, USS Cassin Young, and the USS Constitution, as well as Boston’s Harbor Islands. Don’t forget your camera! Refreshments and light snacks are available for purchase at the bar with a credit card.
- Plan to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the departure time to check-in at the ticket booth and obtain boarding passes
- Bring a photo ID that matches the name listed on the reservation
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum drinking age is 21 years
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- There is a climate controlled main cabin with seating, a covered upper deck and an open bow
- Infant seats are available if given advance notice
- Only animals that perform a manual task to assist a person are permitted aboard. Emotional support animals and pets are not permitted.

The boat departs from Rowes Wharf, directly behind the Boston Harbor Hotel, located at (for GPS) 400 Atlantic Avenue, Boston (02110). Check-in at Rowes Wharf is located in the Ferry Terminal, a climate controlled public space, located on the wharf only steps away from our dock. If guests are lost or running late, please call us at 617-951-2460.

Lovely way to spend the afternoon - We went on the cruise mid-July during a particularly warm week. The boat was larger than we expected, plenty of room and comfortable seats to sit back, relax and enjoy the views with a cold drink. Particularly good fun to go under the airports flight path if you like planes too ! Compared to other cruises it was well priced and id definitely recomend.

The best Harbor tour in Boston - Very relaxing tour of the harbor. No loud music or constant narrative. The seating was comfortable!!

Nice trip around the... - Nice trip around the harbor. Great to see the city and especially Charlestown from the water side! I do recommend this tour. I wish just a little more commentary on some of the sites we were seeing.

Boston cruise - It was nice overall......couldn't really hear info over all noise. Wouldn't do this one again. Food and bev choices were very good.

Not worth it - The boat was nice but what we were being shown was not worth it. The captain focused on the airport and the planes flying over us. Unfortunately not worth the money.
It was a disappointing excursion.

Unfortunate Scam, Inaccurate listing. - What a scam! This is listed as an hour and a half, on board we were told it was one hour, and we were only on the water for 30 minutes. We also did not view the Boston Harbour Islands, which is clearly listed on the itinerary. They closed the kitchen and asked us to leave before 4pm (listing went until 4:30) so that another group could board at 4;5. I have never left a bad review but this is a very inaccurate and disappointing listing. Boat is beautiful and crew was great but not worth it. Will be requesting a refund.
