Like being taken around by an old friend - I cannot recommend these tours highly enough. Your guide, Veronica, has done all the preparation and I’m sure that if you want her to she will do the tour exactly as advertised on the website. But she’ll also listen to what you want and see if there are particular things you’re interested in, and make adjustments to the itinerary accordingly. Being on a tour with Veronica was like being guided by an old friend, and the tea tour (bookended by the Boseong tea fields and the Baekundong garden, but with some serendipitous diversions in between) could not have been more perfect. Some great food choices too. I look forward to seeing what tours Veronica comes up with next, because I’ll almost certainly book myself on one.

Authentic experience with amazing views! - If you want an authentic tour in Korea this is the one to take! The scenery was some of the most beautiful areas I saw on my entire trip in Korea! Veronica the tour guide was amazing! She was informative, introduced us to an amazing dining experience and tea ceremony and talked to us about the area. I am a tea lover and learned so much during this tour while enjoying the absolutely amazing sights of the tea plantations and areas around the plantations and a variety of different teas. I wish we would have known about Veronica and her tours sooner so we could have booked her for other trips while we visited Korea since many of the other tours we took ended up being in areas created for tourists and did not offer an authentic korean experience. It was also great to do a private tour to figure out foods to try since the Korean menu is so different from our menu in the united states. If you are looking for a tour guide who is friendly and informative, or just an amazing experience in korea, this tour is the one to take!

Must-Do Tea Tour - This tour was a highlight of my trip to Korea. Veronica was an amazing guide - I was originally going to tour the tea farms by myself but I’m so glad I booked the tour so I could learn more about tea and have access to awesome restaurants and spots I wouldn’t have found otherwise!

Breathtaking Views and Warm Hospitality - We had a fantastic time in Boseong! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking – endless green tea fields rolling over the hills, creating a peaceful and unforgettable landscape. Veronica was incredibly warm and knowledgeable, making the tour feel personal and engaging. She patiently answered all our questions, shared interesting insights, and kept the conversation flowing throughout. She also took some beautiful photos of us, which we truly appreciated. The tour was thoughtfully organized and captivating from start to finish. Overall, a wonderful experience that we highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Unmissable!! A real must on the to-do list in Gwangju!! - The excursion went very well. It was more than a day of discovery. A journey back in time to the land of tea. Veronica is a real well of knowledge. We loved interacting with her. EVERYTHING seemed natural, she is extremely attentive and kind. We learned a lot about Gwangju and laughed too. For once, I was not doing the guide, it was very nice!!!! A gastronomic, taste, natural, historical and traditional discovery. I absolutely recommend!!!+

More than a day in wonderland :)! - Within a handful of hours we walked through a tea field cultivated on a grand scale on hill slopes, enjoyed the widely known matcha ice cream, visited a tea museum covering both the natural and cultural aspects of tea/tea drinking, and participated in a traditional Korean tea ceremony, not to mention all the insightful inputs from Veronica (e.g. history of the Sorok island). Just as our thirst (for green tea and knowledge) was satisfied after the morning spent in Boseong, Veronica made the tour an even more memorable experience by driving us to Gangjin, where tea grows on the foot of the beautiful Wolchulsan, in its neighborhood there are among others the cradle of the first Korean tea brand, a scholar garden from the middle of the Joseon dynasty next to a bamboo grove. The day was so rich that I almost forgot to mention the delicious local food of the Jeollanamdo...Thank you Veronica for taking so good care of even my sprained ankle and exploring additionally Hadong with me :).

Don't hesitate! There's real added value in having a guide for this day! - It was one of the best days of our trip. We were lucky enough to meet a passionate and fascinating guide. The discovery of the world of tea in Korea deserves to be told and the opportunity to follow a guide rather, than discover it on our own, meant that we didn't miss out on the essentials of what we needed to learn. Tea plantations are much more than just a walk and a beautiful landscape. It's also tastings in an exceptional setting, a history and a feeling that we can only experience with a local guide. Thank you so much for these human and fascinating moments. Don't hesitate to choose this tour, we recommend it !
