• Boseong-eup - Lunchtime! There are two options for lunch. The first main dish is grilled pork patties with green tea powder, a local specialty in Boseong. The second main dish is steamed rice wrapped in a lotus leaf, ideal for vegetarians.
• Korea Tea Museum - Established in 2010, the Korea Tea Museum aims to introduce Korean tea culture and history. Visitors can explore the entire process from cultivation to production of tea through graphic panels, images, and dioramas. • Gangjin Dawon - Located at the foot of Mt. Wolchulsan, Gangjin Tea Plantation has been cultivated for green tea production since 1980 by ‘Amorepacific (Osulloc)’, a leading tea producer in Korea. However, the history of tea culture in Gangjin spans over 1,000 years, with tea trees cultivated in many Buddhist temples around the mountain since the Goryeo Dynasty. The tea produced in Gangjin has a strong aroma and rarely tastes bitter. With rocks towering above Mt. Wolchulsan, Gangjin Tea Plantation offers a magnificent spectacle.
• Baegundong Hermitage Garden - Established by Lee Damro (1627–1701), Baeg-un-dong Garden features the inscription ‘Baeg-un-dong’ carved into the rock next to the valley. This garden served as a cultural meeting place where scholars exchanged ideas and enjoyed the arts. It is also significant as a cradle of Korean tea culture. The hermitage harmoniously blends natural elements with human-made features in an ornate composition while preserving the original character of the forest.
• Seongjeon-myeon - Baeg-un Tea House was established to honor the achievements of Lee Han-young, who created Korea’s first tea brand, Baegun Okpan Tea, in the 1920s. However, the tea culture history in this area dates back to the 1800s. Jeong Yak-yong, one of the greatest scholars of the Joseon Dynasty, was known for his love of tea during his exile in Gangjin. The methods he used to make and enjoy tea have been passed down through one of his disciples, and Baeg-un Tea House continues this historical tradition. Visitors can taste the rice cake tea that Jeong Yak-yong cherished.

This tour starts from Gwangju Metropolitan City. For tea-lovers and nature-lovers, this tour will be very enjoyable. We will visit two major tea plantations in Boseong and Gangjin. In Boseong, we will visit Korea Tea Museum and Daehan Dawon which is the most popular tea farm in Korea.
