Siggi’s Snaefellsnes - Great trip, plenty of stops at good intervals.
Siggi J (Maclean) made it even more special, bringing the landscape to life with stories, a perfect mix of history and folklore.

Fascinating tour with incredible landscapes - Our guide, Martin, was highly knowledgeable about Iceland and its history. We really enjoyed learning so much from this tour, in addition to the incredible views. We had one of the best meals ever during this tour. Highly recommend the tour and Martin was the best guide we had during our trip to Iceland

Even in bad weather, Iceland is spectacular - Although the weather was windy, rainy, and cold, Elisa gave us a great experience in the trip to Snaefellsnes and Kirkjufell. She's articulate and knowledgeable, and she took good care of all of us in the blustery weather. I've seen people give negative reviews for tours when the weather is bad, but as the saying goes: There's no such thing as bad weather; there's only bad clothing. So when you come to Iceland - no matter the season - come prepared with warm clothing, rain gear (especially pants), good boots and crampons, and maybe even trekking poles. You may not need all of it, but you'll surely regret not having it when the bad weather comes!

Amazing tour of Snæfellsnes peninsula - This was an incredible tour - the best one I've done in Iceland- the scenery was stunning and it felt less crowded than the other tourist routes. We also had longer at each of the spots to enjoy the scenery so it felt less rushed - a long day, but we'll worth it. Our guide was excellent - shared his personal connection to the region and you could see how passionate he was about Iceland. We were also fortunate to have a Northern Lights show on the way back - so a great start to 2025!

Waterfalls, horses and rye bread! - Because of the weather we were not able to drive to the peninsula. However our tour guide made sure the day wasn’t wasted! He took us to two waterfalls we hadn’t heard of (Hraunfissar and Barnafoss) which were amazing! Then we went to a horse farm where we got to meet the lovely Icelandic horses up close and learn about them. The farm also had a hot spring that they used the steam to bake rye bread…it was so delicious! It was a great alternative to the original plan and appreciate the guide making the effort instead of just canceling.

Must Book Tour - The pick up was smooth although had to wait a little longer, but Arctic Aventure emailed me the day before it may take 30 mins for the pick up. Driver very friendly and willing to share his story with us, and he also made the effort to bring us to see the seal which is not in the itinerary. Overall happy with the tour and also the people on the minibus. Recommended 👍

Worth the long day - off the regular tourist track! - Thor was a fabulous guide. He provided great insight into the history of Iceland and the area. We had a stunning day so we saw a lot! Amazing driving for such a long day; felt very safe on the icy roads.

Awesome but we got a flat! - I thought that this trip was really amazing. It was very cold, but the sites were incredible. The only reason I did not rate it Five stars was because we did get a flat tire at the very end of the trip and it put us out about an hour, and so it was a long ride home… in total it took about three hours. But that is nobody’s fault. Highly recommend this trip.
