Good time - The trip was long, 12 hours by the time we got back to our hotel, but the bus was really the most comfortable one we had all week and the sights were amazing. The tour guide Thor was awesome. Well worth it

Beautiful tour with great guide - I can highly recommend this tour! I had an amazing time today with our tourguide Vlad! The sights during the tour were beautiful and we were given plently of time at each stop to explore and I didn't feel rushed. At every stop our guide made sure that everyone knew where to go and made sure everyone stayed safe!:) I liked the fact that he also interacted with passengers during the tour, making it feel more personal. The tour does involve a good part of driving as well but the bus was very comfortable.

Disappointing Day with a 'meh' tour guide. - My husband and I took the tour of Snaefellsnes on Sunday July 14 from JK with NiceTravel. The weather was rainy and windy for most of the day but that's what you expect from Iceland. The tour guide was not the most thoughtful or personable. He was rather dry and seemed to not really want to be there, always emphasizing that we could not be late returning to the bus at the each stop since he had plans in Reykavik that evening. It was a long drive and didn't help that he was silent for the majority of it. The tour description stated that they would allow adequate time at a restaurant for lunch but that's not what we got. JK warned us at the bathroom stop after 1 hour of driving that we should pick up lunch at the gas station since the restaurants would be too busy and slow. Well, we picked up very expensive sandwiches to eat on the bus but when when actually got to the stop that included restaurants, we could have had plenty of time to eat a nice hot meal as the restaurants were NOT busy and were very fast with the food. We only enjoyed some tea/coffee since we had eaten the sandwiches from the gas station right before this stop. The guide only left the bus once to guide us on a beach to spot seals. it was very windy and rainy so all of our feet had a lot of sand. While on the bus, he pretty much scolded one man for having excess sand on his boots...really? We all did since it was WET beach. I just thought he was rude. I enjoyed the stops but not the tour guide. I would book the same tour but with a different company. The tour guides usually makes or break the experience. This tour was just 'meh'.

Amazing day out - Amazing views at the peninsula on a good day. Managed to spot seals as well. Walter is such an entertaining and nice guide (no pun intended), telling us history, information and useful facts on Iceland. Recommended.

Exceptional - With Philip at the helm, the day was fun and informative. Great guide with a wealth of knowledge. His playlist was great, obviously a lot of thought was put into it. With every change of scenery, the music was on point. Thank You Philip for making the day memorable.

Pack your own snacks and lunch - Guide “Bear” was pleasant and professional. The pace of the trip was well-planned and the van was comfortably large. Sites are amazing! Though the food everywhere in Iceland seems surprisingly pricey, we were disappointed that the only lunch option was a visitor center with very limited choices, the least expensive of which was a soup for the equivalent of $25. The recommended fish of the day was about $40. Two elderly people on the trip did not eat lunch because they told me it was too expensive.

The quality of tour guide is everything - We joined Golden Circle tour by Nice Travel the day before which was great, so we were hoping to have similar experience, but it turned out to be a bit below our expectation. The guide Sami spoke very fast which was hard to understand for non-native English speakers like us, and he rushed us at every stop so that we could visit as many places as possible, as a result we could not relax and enjoy the scenary. Also he was always looking at his phone and reading articles to explain the places. He said he does not visit these places so often. I also asked him about orca watching in Iceland, but he seemed to have little knowledge or interest in whale watching. His answer was "They are here throughout the year, you just need to spot them. Go and check the website of whale watching company", which of course we have already done and was one of the least helpful answers I have ever heard from a tour guide.
