A great day out - Both vineyards were excellent. Lots of information from the first host with excellent wine. Second host was very chatty and funny. A relaxed atmosphere with more excellent wine. Wine portions were generous for tasters. You get the opportunity to buy bottles at both vineyards but neither host made you feel like you were obliged to. A great day out.

Perfectly timed, perfectly guided! - This was a lot better than I imagined. I'm glad that I went with Bordeaux Wine trails rather than trying to "wing" my trip to Saint-Emilion. The trip was educational, fun, and just the right amount of time to visit the town. Our guide, Jonathan, was stellar. He is extremely knowledgeable but also kept things light and fun. We never felt rushed. The owners of the two family-owned chateaus we visited (they may vary depending on when you go) were very hospitable and devoted to their craft. My only suggestion if you choose this day trip for the afternoon is that you grab lunch before hand so you waste no time enjoying the experience during the trip. Thank you, Jonathan and thank you Bordeaux Wine Trails for exposing my wife and I to the wine traditions of the region!

10/10 Book it - Alex was a very enthusiastic tour guide. He was kind and friendly, and willing to share his knowledge on wine. Both chateau stops were great, and enjoyed the downtime in St Emilion as well.

Highlight of our trip - A brilliant excursion. We got to visit two wineries and were able to taste a broad range of wines. The wines that we sampled were mainly red, but we also got to try one white and one rose wine. We also got some free time to explore St Emillion itself which was lovely. The excursion was made even better by our guide, who was very welcoming and engaging.

Lovely way to spend an afternoon in Bordeaux - A fantastic afternoon spent touring the wine region of St Emilion. The transfer to and from was filled with great information about the region, the history and the wine. Each winery had such history and knowledge of their process, and the wine selection was perfect. I’m very happy that there was a bio dynamic winery on the list. The town itself was charming and we got a good amount of time to explore on our own. Lola was a brilliant guide. Very funny and interesting. After the tour some of us when out to one of the recommended wine bars to keep the drinks flowing.
