Embark on an unforgettable journey in Saint-Emilion, universally acknowledged as the most exquisite wine region in the world. You’ll explore 2 iconic Châteaux, with the opportunity to sample their wine varieties. Blessed with around 900 vineyards in Saint Émilion alone, you’re set to uncover the majority of the region aided by our user-friendly ELECTRIC BIKES. Throughout the day, you’ll sample an array of wines, which will help you appreciate the richness and diverse quality of this exclusive region. Having stimulated your appetite, you’ll unwind while bonding with your fellow participants during a delicious picnic lunch arranged by your hospitable guide. Concluding your final tastings in the historic town of Saint-Emilion, we’ll lead you on an intriguing guided exploration of the UNESCO-listed town of Saint-Emilion. We’ll take short breaks during the tour, giving you the opportunity to take unforgettable pictures before we return to Bordeaux. - Minimum size required is 155 cm.
- In case of rain, we provide ponchos/rain coats and adapt the ride. In case of really bad weather the tour can be lead by van.
- You must be a confident cyclist.

Lovely day spent in St Emilion - Very enjoyable cycling around St Emilion and our guide was very knowledgeable about the wines and history of the area. We were picked up from Bordeaux and driven to St Emilion. Along the way, our guide was telling us about the history and wines, and pointing out landmarks. After a safety reminder, we were off from the village into the farmlands. The lunch was a good selection of cheeses, nuts and fruits, and wine. He also took us around the little village for photos and of course visited a wine merchant where we purchased a dozen to be shipped home. I believe they were some Pomerol and Premier Grand Cru.

St Emillion bike in the vineyards - Biking in the vineyards of St Emillion could not have been better. Maude made it fun. The scenery, the wines, and riding not near but in the vineyards was awesome. This was our 3rd trip with vineyard vines this time bringing friends. We will be back again.

A highlight of our travels - We loved this experience and would highly recommend it to others visiting this area. Riding bikes through the vineyards felt like the best way to experience the region. We learned a lot of interesting information about Bordeaux wines & interacted with many lovely people along the way, including our guide Susana. The day flew by!

Great time e-biking at St. Emilion - Suzanne (sp) was an excellent guide. Full of very pertinent information and brought a great deal of history to the trip. The actual bike tour was very fun, scenic and not too difficult overall. It had rained the night before so we had to go to through some puddles but it still felt very safe. There were some extremely breathtaking views from the top of hillsides and me some historic buildings. We stopped at two different wineries and one was commercial and one was more family oriented and it was very nice to see the difference in the two. I would definitely recommend this trip

Exceptional Experience with an Exceptional Guide. - Though the weather may have been a little rainy, the experience was exceptional. Starting with the welcome and conversation with the Rustic Vines team and meeting our guide Maud, we had a good sense that it would be a great day. Even with the occasional rain, Maud’s encouragement to still cycle through Saint-Emilion made all of the difference; experiencing the chateaus, tasting great wine and biking through the vineyards made for an unforgettable experience. Thank you Maud for your passion, expertise and care in providing this wonderful first experience of Bordeaux - we will certainly be back with more friends and family!

Most Amazing Bike Tour - This was hands down the best tour I have ever done and I have been on many tours all over the globe. Our host Suzanne was amazing. We biked through places we otherwise would never have seen. Delicious lunch outside a beautiful Chateau. Amazing vineyards with equally amazing hosts. I highly recommend doing this tour, you will not regret it!

Amazing - I have been on a lot of tours, but this hands down was the best one I have ever been on, it was amazing! Our tour guide Suzanne was beyond words… knowledgeable, kind and just a terrific guide. I highly recommend this ebike experience
