Wonderful - I’ve been to a lot of wine tastings around the world and this was one of the best. Very very knowledgable about wines, explained how to properly taste them. Talked about the history of Bordeaux wines. Was able to answer any and all questions. Would highly recommend! The actual wine and the charcuterie on the side were also amazing!

We thought it was an activity... - The person responsible very nice and trained, you can tell q knows what he is talking about. I would recommend, for better follow-up explanations, a brief summary in the languages of the participants, for example Spanish. German...

We're complete wine... - We're complete wine beginners, so this was a good English language introduction to Bordeaux wines. Lots of opportunities to ask questions. Tasting was two reds (I didn't get the names) and a white (a Bordeaux Sin). A small charcuterie board (a slice of bread, cheese and ham) was ok.

Great spot in Bordeaux to... - Great spot in Bordeaux to understand the history of wine in the region as well as the certification and governance process that allows wine makers to be able to label the wine as coming from the Bordeaux region. Recommend this for all the wine lovers.

good tutorial in wine tasting. - This was very well presented and we learned a lot about how to taste wine. however, it was overbooked and quite crowded so rather cramped. the Local cheese and ham from Basque Country included was not made available. overall, a good experience which we would recommend.

Great Introduction to Bordeaux Wine - This was an entertaining tasting of several wines and a great introduction to the Bordeaux region. We learned about the different areas, appellations, and grapes used in Bordeaux wines with a good tasting of 3 different wines, 2 of which were Grand Cru Classés. The event was held in a wine shop in their beautiful upstairs tasting room. It also included great breads, cheeses, and meats to pair with the wines. My only complaint was that the talk was a tiny bit rambling; I wish he had stuck more to a script for intermediate wine drinkers.

Not what I expected... - The experience was enjoyable, however the photos in the booking lead you to believe you are doing a taste instruction with two brothers, when the host is neither of the gentlemen shown and only one person, which I found to be a bit misleading, especially after reading all the great reviews about the brothers. Our host was certainly very knowledgeable, but did tend to ramble a bit and I found myself, as somewhat of a novice, tuning out, as I didn't really understand what was going on or how to properly taste the wines, as I thought we would be taught, as this was also listed in the experience description. All in all, a nice experience and I would recommend it to intermediate and above wine tasters, but perhaps the description/photos need to be changed to portray a more accurate explanation.
