Great time on the Garonne - Great time to spend on the Garonne with the Bordeaux Boats The guide "Yona" was more than perfect, she knows the route and makes discover it in bilingual. We learned a lot about Bordeaux and had the chance to see the Chaban Delmas bridge rise to let a cruise ship pass. To be redone for dinner

Lovely cruise to see Bordeaux from the river - Super cruise along the river. The guide spoke excellent English as well as her native French so we could understand what she telling us. The guide was super enthusiastic and made us laugh too - quite tough on a city tour. Had a free coffee on board and took our own snacks for a mini picnic. We had a nice day and were warm but I guess it would be chilly on a cold/windy day so take a coat. Overall a really nice way to see the city.

Interesting comments from the guide about the city of Bordeaux. Shipping by liner would also be possible for 1.50€ - Interesting facts about Bordeaux from the tour guide. However, liner shipping would be about the same route, but only about 1.50€ per person. Delicious little Bordeaux pastries included.

Gentle cruise to see the city - The guide spoke too long in French before switching to English so it was difficult to stay focused on the sights. Needs to speak less than one minute in each language before swapping. We had passed the sights that she was talking about when she spoke English.

It was ok - Bordeaux is a lovely city and it was nice to be on the water. Frankly there is not a great deal to see from the river, you go down to one bridge and up to another and back. The caneles were standard shop fare. I would recommend getting the TBM boats instead and zigzagging the river. That said the price was reasonable

Although the tour was... - Although the tour was partly in English, it was mostly in French and clearly dedicated more to French speakers as less was translated to English

Disappointing - The audio was inaudible, partly because the boat’s sound system produced a muffled broadcast at a modest volume, and partly because the many children on the trip were constantly talking and running around, which made it hard to hear anyone but them. Also, because the guide alternated between French and English and the majority of the passengers were French, many adults were talking when the guide was speaking in English, adding to the noise. We took the 2:45 PM tour, which probably attracts more families than the evening tours. I can’t say how interesting the guide was because we could not hear her; visually, the trip wasn’t that interesting and everything we saw we also saw just from walking down the promenade.
