Discover the art of tasting and explore the richness of Bordeaux wines: history, appellations, terroirs, grape varieties, blends, classifications, and more!
In a welcoming atmosphere, participants will learn to taste like professionals. Wine will become more approachable, and senses will guide them to perceive the subtlety of its aromas. They will taste 6 carefully selected wines: 1 mystery wine, 2 dry whites (from the left and right banks), 3 reds (blends from the left and right banks), and 1 sweet wine. The wines are sourced from Grands Crus Classés and family estates practicing organic agriculture.
Guided by Mathilde and Cécilia, professionals trained at the University of Wine, participants will also uncover the secrets of successful, sometimes surprising, food and wine pairings.
A tasting booklet will be provided to continue practicing at home. Depending on the season, the tasting takes place in a private courtyard, a cellar, or our converted room. The wines tasted are available for purchase.

The tasting course is open to everyone, offering an introduction to demystifying the world of wine.
The tasting room is situated in the Bastide district on the right bank of Bordeaux, just 200 meters from the magnificent Pont de Pierre, one of Bordeaux’s most beautiful monuments and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tasting room is housed in a typical Bordeaux building, featuring charming stonework and a small private courtyard.
This district is undergoing a renewal that blends a bohemian and industrial spirit in full transformation, and is filled with unique places like Darwin or the Botanical Garden.
