Best of the Best - Sophia is a French citizen, born and raised in the UK. Not only is she a top notch guide with very interesting stories, you can actually understand her English! Have no doubt. She is the best.

A very delightful and instructive personal tour of Bordeaux City with Sophia. - My wife and I enjoyed a very delightful and instructive personal tour of Bordeaux City with Sophia. Walking with us at our pace, she provided a meaningful and descriptive account of the varied locations we visited in the center city. She knew the city well and answered our ad hoc questions with answers that delighted and satisfied our curiosity. The tour duration was just right for us, and was as described in your literature. Brilliant way to see and understand more about Bordeaux and French culture - Would highly recommend this 3 hour tour with the lovely Sophia, a lass from Burnley who’s made her home in Bordeaux. She is engaging, bubbly and full of insights into Bordeaux and all things french. It felt less like a talk where you were told stuff and much like a 3 hour chat with a good friend who knew more than you did.

Infectious enthusiasm for and the inner story of Bordeaux - We highly recommend this tour completed last week. Sophia brings and infectious enthusiasm that makes all the difference. We were a group of older travellers (60 plus) on a cruise ship in the nearby port and were looking for something local and immersive. She had an absolute wealth of inside knowledge and a real appreciation for the history and culture of Bordeaux. She is also amazing at tailoring the tour to the interests and ability of the participants. We had several resting points, a great coffee stop and visits to the toilet in keeping with our demographic. But she would have no difficulty in tailoring a high speed and energetic trip for 20-somethings (likely her own age).

Unforgettable tour of Bordeaux - Sophia gave us an unforgettable tour of Bordeaux. She not only has a superb grasp of the history- giving us a detailed and fascinating account of Eleanor of Aquitaine- but she is able to switch seamlessly to insights into contemporary Bordeaux culture which were always fascinating. She has a warm and engaging personality too .Highly recommended!
