On our trip, we begin at our kayak launch and discover our first mangrove tunnel. We will continue to meander through an enchanting inlet that will allow you to soak in all the natural wonders of our local mangrove systems! Mike will share his wealth of knowledge of wildlife and the area! Our journey will lead us to the Gulf of Mexico, a calm gulf that has a host of wildlife providing ample chance for mesmerizing encounters! Mike will be sure to take a wide variety of complimentary pictures of the experience; whether it’s birds, dolphins, or manatees gracing us with their presence, Mike will capture it! The expedition will lead us further into the island’s vast system of mangroves and we will explore various mangrove tunnels that will lead us to Estero Bay! This Bay is a bread basket of many forms of wildlife which offers a wealth of information for our travelers! We will then watch our sunset, and turn on our LED to return to the launch glowing the nocturnal wonders that surround us!

Whether you choose to paddle or pedal, your experience will be epic, and allow you to effortlessly go through currents, go further, and see more. The LED glow lights not only highlight the mangrove eco system but make the experience very exciting.
Southwest Florida Sunsets are breath taking, as you travel to the beach to watch the sunset, we will search for Dolphins and Manatees, and navigate mangrove tunnels. When we return from the sunset, the LEDs will light your way in an special way.

There is no physical address: Be sure to pull up Big Hickory Island on either google or Apple Maps. We are located at the south bridge of the island on Big Hickory Pass. Look for the GIANT TRAILER with Manatee and Dolphin, it's very unique! There will be other outfitters too on busy days!

Awesome - The tour was fantastic! Mike knows so much about the local flora, animals- changes in the are and history. He’s very responsive to all questions before the tour and so friendly too!

Sunset kayak - My son and I were looking for a fun, new experience when we were visiting fort Myers during his baseball tournament. We did the sunset tour and had a great time. Would highly recommend to anyone and would not hesitate to go again. Thanks, Mike!

A+ experience! - This is kayaking like you’ve never done before! We had such a great time exploring the mangroves, spotting wildlife, and enjoying a stunning sunset! Mike was a wonderful guide—patient, kind, and helpful as he explained how to use the pedal kayaks. It was easy to get the hang of, even for me in my late 60s! The group included teens, parents, young couples, and grandparents—and everyone had a blast. We took tons of photos, made new friends, and created memories we’ll never forget. I highly recommend this adventure! PS spoiler alert, the boats glow in the dark!

Unforgettable adventure - 🌅🚣♀️ Just got back from the most exhilarating sunset guided glow kayak tour with Mike at Mike's Coastal Expedition LLC, and WOW, it blew our expectations out of the water! 🌊✨ The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the whole experience was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. The Peddlers made everything so easy, from the gear to the guidance. 🙌 If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience, I highly recommend any tour with these guys! 🛶💙 #KayakAdventures #SunsetTour #MikesCoastalExpedition #NatureLovers

Pick MIKE’s Tour! - Mike was great! He went out of his way to make it work for our group of six. Mike answered all of our questions prior to arrival.
The kayaks were top notch, great equipment. The sunset tour was made even extra special by all of the great pictures Antonio took for us and encouraged us to relax and enjoy the sunset. Our trip age range was 18 to 58 . The kayaks were easy to use. Antonio was very patient and walked us through how to pedal and steer. Antonio rocked as our guide. He offered great historical stories that were extremely funny and cool. Wow, we watched the sunset. Antonio was great at taking pictures of our family at the end of the night. They airdropped us all of the pictures. The words our group used to describe the trip on the way home, chill, sick, fun and I’ll be sore in the morning, but it was worth it.
Don’t miss this opportunity. It is THE Best tour.

Pedal kayaking for sunset on secluded beach, kayaking with lights after dark, super cool! - Peddle kayaking is so easy and fun. Our guide Antonio was awesome with instructions and conversations about the area and ecosystem. Sunset at the beach was amazing and kayaking after dark, super cool! This was our second trip, last year a day tour. We’ll be back!!!
