Cozy stay in Budda Park - The place is really nice. There are many parking spaces outside the site so parking is rarely a problem. At the entrance, remember to buy the "train". The little train is incredibly cozy and runs around the park. The train stops 6-7 times during the trip where you can get on and off. There's been incredibly much done out of this place. There is so much to see that you hardly get done in a day. The second time we came to the place we found out that there was a completely different part of the park we had not seen the first time. In addition, they have sales of wines etc. at the exit. Their white sangria is cheap and can definitely be recommended.

Calm and relaxation - We were lucky because there were very few people. At every turn in the road a new wonder. (Africa, Asia...) Very nice outing during our vacation in Portugal.

A great value for money experience. - Wow! We didn’t know what to expect but this is a great experience. Use the little train to get an easy view of the gardens and allow plenty of time to see everything that’s on offer.

Disappointing - My wife and I were disappointed in the gardens. Granted it was October, but there wasn’t a wide variety of plants or flowers. The statutes were also disappointing, with an emphasis on size and repetition rather than individual artistry. They seemed mass produced. As another reviewer stated, the bathrooms had a terrible stench. Interesting because the other review is from a year earlier, not sure what that means! We have seen some lovely gardens, and though we wanted to like this one, we didn’t. Would recommend skipping this and instead seeing one of the interesting towns around Lisbon.

Could do better - Whilst the park is beautiful to look at, there was no information about the park, no interpretation of different areas, not disabled friendly, grumpy train driver . Dogs are not allowed on the train around the park. Bit disappointed
