An unforgettable day in Bologna - Bologna, a beautiful city that can also be visited on foot, with its squares , and colonnaded arcades stretch far and wide just outside the train station, is then the culinary art not to be missed.

City walk - Nice walk with interesting information about the history of the city. I would have liked some more food/restaurant recommendations.

Authentic and informative history tour in city center - Maria guided us through city center, in a small group. She told us stories about the people, cultures, and buildings of Bologna. This was a perfect way to start exploring the city. Big thanks to Maria for the tour.

Excellent tour booked... - Excellent tour booked through Viator. Our guide was excellent weaving together the cultural, gastronomical and civic history of Bologna. Without this tour I would have missed so much.

Good tour - The pace was relaxed, allowing us to really enjoy the sights. The only thing that could have improved the experience was a bit more time at some of the key sites. Overall, a wonderful tour and highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn about Bologna's charm!

Would not recommend - The tour itself was rather slow and uninteresting. We spend a lot of the time inside buildings and did not see a lot of the surroundings. Even though the guide was very kind and knowledgeable, she had a rather strong accent and when missing the correct words in english, she said them in french or just did not finish the sentence. Thus it was a bit difficult to follow and we certainly missed out on information. For that (not seeing much of Bologna and receiving rather little information) the price is too high. Especially considering that the tour does not include anything with admission fees which would justify the price.

Poor customer service - The tour itself was fine but the customer service was unsatisfactory. I mistakenly double booked the Bologna walking tour for two different dates. I attended the first tour which was fine. When I later realized I was still booked for a second tour I immediately cancelled it online. Sadly, however, I was already apparently within the 24 hour “no cancellation” window. Viator said they contacted the operator who refused to help and charged me for a tour which I actually cancelled. The tour operator and Viator got double paid for a tour I attended once. I doubt they actually turned a willing customer away because of my mistaken booking. Both Viator and the tour operator need to be more flexible and customer oriented. The entire experience just leaves a bad taste. Rich McAlpin

Stay Away from these people -- They are not nice - What you need to know about this tour operator is that they have no interest in you as a person or in helping you in any way. We did not get to go on this tour because the train we were on had a mechanical issue. As soon as we realized we had a problem, we used the "Contact the tour operator" button on the information sent from Viator, but did not get a timely response from the operator. We contacted Viator, who responded in minutes. Not sure if that had anything to do with it, but after we contacted Viator, we heard from the tour operator, who offered us a tour the following day. We only had the one day in Bologna and so we declined. We asked if they had anything else, but instead received a rather rude reply that the problem wasn't their problem, so they refused to refund us our money for the tour. These are not nice people. They only want your money. There are a lot of other tours through Viator or other brokers. Use one of them.
