Pilanesberg Safari tour - MoAfrika tours - I really enjoyed the Safari tour. I've taken the full day Pilanesberg Safari tour. Everything was fabulous. We have seen many animals. We had a delicious Braai in the bush with the view on the lake. Our tour guide Debbie took a good care of us. She was explaining interesting facts about the animals which we have seen. Debbie also provided blankets and a cold water for us if needed. I would highly recommend the MoAfrika Safari tour. Thank you for the beautiful experience.

An absolute must if you only have 1 day. - I had a day off and then booked this event. Everything was perfect. The day before, you were informed about the pick-up time via WhatsApp. The driver was on time and the sprinter was new and clean. The safari cars were pleasant, the driver very competent. Das Essen im Restaurant top. Would have liked to book the 2 days tour.

Lovely tour. Cathy at the Pilanesberg Safari was knowledgeable; a great guide. Too late in the morning for best animals - Lovely tour. Cathy at the Pilanesberg Safari was knowledgeable and a great guide. Only downside was that the best times to visit a Safari is before sunrise or late afternoon, as it's too hot for the animals to be out between 9am and 3pm. But still got to see Lions, Giraffes, Impalas, Hippos, White Rhinos, Elephants, Zebras, Kudus, Wildebeests, Warthogs, Waterbucks, Steenboks, and a few more species. My daughter loved it and it was great to see her engaged with all the knowledge she's gained over the years, watching David Attenborough series.

Moafrika a guarantee! - We chose this tour thanks to the positive reviews found on Tripadvisor. The experience was perfectly organized and managed from the pick up at the hotel to the tour in the park. I highly recommend it for those arriving in Johannesburg

Great Experience! - It was a long, but well-organized, day that included up-close views of Africa's iconic mammals, knowledgeable guides, and a delicious lunch. Transportation to and from the park was comfortable with air conditioning. Our guide was Moloko, who was very focused on ensuring we all got a view of as many animals as possible. In the morning drive, we saw lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, and more. The afternoon drive was more sparse and felt long and warm. I would have preferred more time with the truck engine off, patiently watching, being able to hear the animals, and take in the scenes, rather than continually repositioning the truck to possibly (but not always) get a better/closer look/photograph and also racing from one part of the park to another. I felt several times that we could have patiently watched and waited for an animal to cross a field or emerge from the bush or accomplish a task (such as an elephant eating a tree) and had better results than trying to approach the animal from different angles (and sometimes causing it to change course). I also would have liked to experience a different guide in the afternoon than in the morning because each guide has a different style and different knowledge. It would have been nice to experience two different styles. Also, some game trucks had 2 people--a driver and a guide/spotter. Moloko had to do both jobs. It is really hard to keep your eyes on the road and looking for animals at the same time. In any case, Moloko was a great, accommodating guide. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and determined. She talked about the right amount and she definitely delivered on getting us to see lots of animals. Both of my experiences with MoAfrika tours have been stellar and others I spoke to who did more tours with them all said the same thing. You cannot go wrong using MoAfrika!

Tiring Tour - We expected it would be a long-hour tour but still shocked when receiving the notice the day before to pick up at 5, though it was later adjusted to 5:30. We waited for lunch for almost an hour even we ordered in advance in the morning in the shuttle. The menu given in the shuttle has no list of drinks we could choose. Our afternoon safari eneded before 3. The weather was too hot and there are few animals to see anyway. I uderstand we had to circle to pick up others, but the shuttle arrangement was a little chaos and crowded, and sometimes we had to cram in the back seat with luggage.
