The best cooking experience ever! - This was the most amazing cooking experience! I did this with my 2 young teen daughters. Liz contacted us in advance to see what we wanted to cook. She took us through the market, cooked delicious food and we all had a blast. She is not only a great cook, great at teaching cooking technique, and a gracious host in her home, but she is also very fun. My daughters said give her a 6 out of 5 stars because it was that great of an experience.

An afternoon with friends - The day with Liz was very nice: from the beginning at the market, to the kitchen, to the actual meal. Although we had just met, it was like spending an afternoon with a long-time friend. A great way to spend an alternative day and experience the everyday life of Bogotá.

Fantastic experience. Great top chef with golden heart. - Dive into the world of Colombian cuisine with the best chef of bogota. Great experience to go to the market together. And super fun to learn more about Colombia while cooking. Best activity of the holiday and great recipes as a souvenir.

Great cooking experience - I really enjoyed the afternoon cooking class. Shopping at the market in La Preservancia was a real highlight, and Liz was a great, friendly host. Came away, knowing how to cook several delicious Colombian dishes.

Colombian cooking - We had a fun time making Colombian food with Liz. She walked us through all the processes and was very good. We also learnt about different foods from Colombia. I would definitely recommend this class

SCAM! Avoid at all cost. - First, you're expected to buy your own ingredients, which is surprising considering the price (nearly half a million pesos). That would’ve been fine if the experience actually happened.
I showed up to the meeting point, texted the operator, and waited, no response, no signs of anyone. I walked the area and waited for over 30 minutes. Still nothing. I eventually left and contacted support, who also couldn’t reach the operator.
This wasn’t just poor service it felt like a complete no show. I wasted time, money, and my last day in the country on something that didn’t happen. Spend your money elsewhere. You're better off tossing it in the trash than booking this.

Not a Real Cooking Class - Felt Misled and Overcharged - While Liz was kind and patient, the experience was far from what I expected from a food tour and cooking class. You're required to buy all the ingredients yourself, which not only feels like a quick grocery run rather than a guided tour, it also significantly increases the overall cost.
Instead of learning to cook hands-on, you mostly just watch her prepare the food, with minimal participation or instruction. There was no real hosting, no drinks, no snacks, and nothing to make the experience feel welcoming.
To make things worse, she didn’t even have containers so we could take the food with us. I had to insist on going out and buying some myself, otherwise the food I paid for would have stayed with her.
All in all, this felt more like paying to watch someone else cook in their kitchen than joining a proper food tour or cooking class. I left feeling disappointed and a bit scammed. Definitely not worth the price, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.
