A must! - Absolute must-do! It was such a fun experience with so much (so much!) wonderful and interesting fruit. (And then some savory food too! We did not need breakfast OR lunch.) Victor is the best tour guide we had across the whole country.

Fruit beyond your wildest dreams - An absolutely fabulous tour with the charming and beautiful Val.
We tried so many fruits that we have never even heard of before and they were all amazing. Val was so knowledgeable, thoughtful and caring and respectful of the stall owners and their businesses.
This tour is a must for those visiting Bogotá.

BEST tour I’ve ever been on! - Victor was an AMAZING guide! Very knowledgeable about all the different fruits! So many I’d never even heard of! We ate so many varieties! He speaks excellent English and is very nice!

Yummy morning! - We had a great morning with Val exploring the fruit and flower market, and trying all kinds of fruits: three types of guava, 4 types of passion fruits, tree tomatoes, guanabana, mangosteen, andes blueberries, mora, the best avocado 🥑 I've ever eaten, and many others! We also had other treats from the market. Val is fluent in English and infinitely patient with us. She washed any unpeeled fruits, but most of our fruits we only ate the insides. All of our peels and pits went into compostable bags and she explained why she didn't bargain with the fruit sellers. Highly recommended for any stop in Bogotá.

Amazing fruit tour, you have try! - This fruit tour was AMAZING!! Victor was an amazing guide, and he knew so much about all the fruits and did not pressure you to eat all of them or like them at all. Don’t eat before you go, because you will eat SO MUCH. In ours, not only did we try so many crazy fruits, but also other things like arepas and Pan de Bono. We went with two kids and two adults and every body enjoyed it a lot. We also learned about the fruits and Columbia in general. The tour was about 50% standing up and 50% sitting down, which was really nice. Amazing tour!! If I could give it 10 stars ⭐️ I would! 100% recommendation, you will not regret it.

The best fruit tour with Val! - Val was / is amazing. She easily was switching between Spanish and English. She loves to cook so she would also share ditches that she’s made with some of the fruits that we tasted. She knows everyone in the market so you knew you were getting the best. It was perfect amount of time. She paste it really really well and, we sat down a couple times to taste some of the little snacks they sell in the market

Best Tour in Bogota - This was our second tour we took during our visit to Bogota, and I wish we had done it first. You could see this market on your own, for sure. BUT you would have no idea what you were eating. Victor was our guide and he was terrific. He was kind, funny, patient and generous. He knows everyone at the market and it's clear he has a great reputation. I never felt like we were in the way or bothering people, which is important to me as a foreigner.
Trust and believe you will be very full after this tour. So don't make lunch plans. Also the empanadas were some of the best I've had here. Victor can also help you find certain things you're shopping for after the tour ends. He helped us find some coca tea and helped translate with the stall owners.
Simply put, take this tour and do it when you arrive so you have a baseline for the rest of your trip.

Simply The Best - We did this on our last full day in Bogota and I wish we did it on our first. Victor was amazing. Gracious, patient and generous. He's like the King of the market. He knows everyone there and it's clear he's built quite a reputation. We had more fruit on Monday than I've had year to date. It was such a great tour. Absolutely recommend.

Biodiversity never tasted so good - There is a sign outside this market that says “All of Colombia in one place” and that could not be more true!
Eating our way through the mind boggling level of biodiversity in Colombia’s flora was so special to me as a passionate home cook. I tasted flavours and textures that I like not have even imagined across the 20+ types of fruit we ate, among the many more that we saw. The atmosphere of this market early in the morning was incredibly lively, and certainly felt welcome to myself and my group. I am so grateful for our guides Val and Victor for sharing their extensive knowledge and passion for gastronomy with us. Chatting with them about food and drink in Bogota was definitely a highlight!

Informative and Delicious! - This fruit tour was an amazing experience for our group in Bogota. Val & Victor were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and generous.
Val picked fresh fruit from the market and shared with us over 20 different fruits during the tour. They were delicious, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to try so many different fruits that I had not before. It was also very pleasant to see how some fruits differed in size, taste, and texture from what I am used to in North America.
Our group would definitely recommend this tour as it was affordable, delicious, and you will leave with more knowledge about the fruits and the fruit market in Colombia than you did before!
