• Bogota - We leave from your hotel and take our way to the east of Bogota towards the Andes mountain chain where the Chingaza Park is located. Let´s have an immersive and local experience!
• Andes - We will continue heading up to the National Park, crossing the mountains that will turn into “paramos” some meters above this thermal floor.
• Parque Nacional Natural Chingaza - Let’s walk through ecological paths and enjoy the fauna and flora that lives there. Find a natural water factory among this complex ecosystems that provide water to more than 12 million people. (ENTRANCE FEE NOT INCLUDED)
• Andes - We will get out the National Park going to La Calera town. Let´s cross the landscape of the “paramo” letting behind this wonderful ecosystem.
• La Calera - There is a lot to try in Colombian cuisine. In our lunch at very typical restaurant you will know new flavors, local seasoning and traditional dishes. (LUNCH NOT INCLUDED)

On this Exclusive Excursion, we journey to the northeastern region of the city to penetrate the Colombian Andes. We discover Chingaza National Natural Park, a globally unique landscape that only exists in high mountain ranges at tropical latitudes.

We will discover more than 100 lakes scattered at various elevations, witness over 2000 types of flowers, and roughly view 383 species of vegetation that retain environmental moisture. This geographic sponge of an ecosystem takes in water from the air and transforms it into currents that eventually become massive rivers.

We’ll interact with native species and may even glimpse one of the 289 bird species or endemic mammals such as the spectacled bear, native to the South American Andes. Upon exiting the park, we’ll return to La Calera town for some downtime after our extraordinary adventure.
