Fun and learning experience - I enjoyed discovering many faces of Candelaria, a culturally rich area of Bogota. Our guide Natali was very engaging and knowledgeable. She loves Bogota and shared her love with the group. We learned a lot of history and culture of Colombia and Bogota.

Golombia de Bogota Tour - There are 3 tours you can do that usually start at 10 am and 2 pm from Museo del Oro. The meeting place is in front of the museum entrance and the tour guides can be identified by red umbrellas they carry. I was lucky enough to have Rafa as my tour guide. He talked the tour together seamlessly and was very open and social. You should definitely not skip this tour when visiting Bogota!

Highly recommend guide Leslie and this tour! - We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour through the huge candaleria district, despite the rain. Leslie was an extremely brilliant, passionate guide who cares deeply about the past and future of Bogata, and her country. Her enthusiasm and spirit was beautiful. Thank you for a very lovely, informative day, and the coffee shop knowledgeable the end was a bonus! We fell in love with Bogata, despite our doubts. We will be back. Feliz Ano Nuevo Leslie!

All the Highlights of La Candelaria - Wonderful walking tour all over La Candelaria. Our guide was knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly. Sometimes these tours can feel scripted, but this one definitely was not. The fruit and coffee tastings were much appreciated bonuses!

Stick to the FACTS - Overall, the tour was very good. It covered all the sites and some of the culture. Natalie, our guide, was enthusiastic and answered questions. HOWEVER, one serious issue caused me to ding a couple of stars off this review. My Colombian husband was upset by how Natalie depicted the M19 rebel group takeover of the Palace of Justice on November 6th, 1985. Natalie introduced an alternative theory for that day, in which the violent events were an inside job by generals to hide their crimes. The visiting foreigners were left with the wrong impression of what happened that fateful day. It didn't show well in Colombia. Maybe we should leave conspiracy theories out of these tours.
