Nearby, the hill of Kolonos awaits, where the legendary 300 Spartans made their final stand, and where their grave can be found.
The next destination is the main attraction: the archaeological wonder of the Temple-Oracle of Apollo in the ancient city of Delphi. This city was considered the center of the ancient world, both religiously and culturally, and was frequented by many of the world’s most famous and influential figures.
The essence of life and the landscape of western Greece revolve around Delphi. Not far from here is the next stop, the ancient yet modern city of Levadia, known for its waterfalls and as a hub of Greek cuisine.
