Experience Bodrum like a local! - We had such an amazing time with Melis. You can tell she loves Bodrum and her passion for it comes through in this tour. We felt extremely well looked after and loved the wide range of things we saw and ate. It was lovely of Melis to tailor it a little as she picked up on the fact that my mum was into art so we visited a couple more small galleries, which were great. I also appreciated that one or two street foods we tried pushed the boat out a little because otherwise I wouldn’t have ever tried it and it was delicious. But of course you don’t have to try everything and trust me there will still be enough food! Come to this tour hungry! :)) And expect that you won’t need much dinner after (if you are in for the lunch session). I very much recommend this if you come to Bodrum!

Lovely Tour In Bodrum - I absolutely loved this tour. Melis was the best host for our short stay in Turkey. She was so passionate everything Bodrum. I could listen to her speak for hours about the Bodrum food, people, and history. I learned so much in a short amount of time. The food was definitely the highlight of the tour. I was exposed to so many dishes I’ve never tried and Amelia really encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone. I highly recommend this tour for your first day in Bodrum or if your coming to Bodrum from a cruise.

Want to learn about Bodrum's incredible culture and discover hidden gems? Melis is a MARVELOUS guide. - I visited Bodrum in September and wanted to take a tour to learn about local culture and history and to discover hidden gems. The experience Melis offered combined art, food, walking and sightseeing, and meeting local artisans and shop owners, all in view of Bodrum's picturesque seaside setting. The best part was the conversation — Melis is eager to listen to her guests and engage them in dialogue, not just to share her knowledge (which is vast!). Melis is passionate about Bodrum and Turkey, and she’s thrilled to get to show visitors around. I’d recommend one of her tours to anyone lucky enough to visit.

Wonderful Experience! - I am an avid traveler and have meet so many guides and been on so many tours. It was definitely off the beaten path to see Bodrum, no one else offers what she does. Melis does an amazing job showing you different aspects of Bodrum Old City. Even though it was last minute she did an amazing job of finding wonderful vegetarian food for me to try, including street food. I am so happy I found her. ❤️

Great food and fun time in Bodrum - We had an excellent experience with Melis. We enjoyed seeing Bodrum through her eyes and tasting her local favorites. We tried food we wouldn’t have known to get on our own and enjoyed most of them including the sheep’s intestine. She took us to lots of local eateries and stores and shared about their culture. She communicated with us ahead of time and set a meeting location that was easy to find and convenient for the cruise port. Highly recommend doing this tour while in Bodrum and make sure you don’t eat before you come as there will be a lot of food and beverages. If you want to experience the local culture and cuisine, this is a must-do!

Thank you Melis 🤗 - Melis is an amazing host and ensures that the guests are comfortable. My husband and I went joined Melis for this tour. The personal anecdotes she added during the tour and the way she explained the local dishes, culture and crafts was amazing. Some of the eating joints she took us too were so good that we went back to those places on our own. Not just this, Melis even helped us on a personal level when I needed some medical attention and kept checking on me regularly to ensure everything went on smoothly. I highly recommend this tour to you if you want to see Bodrum through a local's eye and you cannot get any better host than Melis. P. S. - Go with an empty stomach, Melis loves to feed her guests. In fact not even your mother would have fed you like this 🙂

You create memories with Melis! - I got a crash course in Turkish cuisine with the added privilege of Melis' company and her passion for and knowledge about Turkish culture and traditions. If you're a foodie and love to try and explore new experiences you must spend time with Melis - it's worth every minute and penny! Every single dish she got me to taste was a gastronomical delight. And what better way to end a tour of the town than with good food, wonderful company and a few glasses of raki - all with the backdrop of the Bodrum Castle at a restaurant by the bay. Melis doesn't just provide experiences, she gives you memories - precious and unforgettable memories for life!
