Highlight of our trip! - We had such a great time! This was the highlight of the trip - so many beautiful beaches, excellent guides (Carlos and Juan) with a lot of knowledge, and great opportunities to swim and see wildlife. Highly recommend.

Unique experience. Beautiful beaches. - We had the best time this was a really awesome and unique hike. We made some great friends along the way. Juan shared lots of information about the environment and kept things really interesting. It was fun to connect with the other people that were hiking with us. We all shared some drinks and delicious tacos at the end of the hike. A very cool experience.

Wonderful day in PV! - We had a great day hiking to 6 beautiful beaches with Issac. After meeting in the romantic zone of Puerta Vallarta a local bus ride takes you to Boca where the hike to the first beach starts. Issac was so friendly and attentive to ensuring that everyone was safe and stopped to point out the iguana, termites and their natural habitat, and a whale in the distance were just a few of the things to mention. The beaches were beautiful and the hike was great as well. The lunch at the last beach was delicious especially after all of the hiking! The water taxi back to Boca was also very fun! Would definitely recommend. Both the adults and teenagers enjoyed this outing. A few things to consider is to have breakfast and make sure you have water and a few snacks to tide you over until lunch. Thanks Issac to a great day!

Six hidden beaches — A MUST!! - This tour was my favorite part of our trip! Juan (our tour guide) was very informative & helpful all throughout. If you love hiking, you’d ENJOY this hike for sure! The beaches & sceneries were MESMERIZING!! Also, tour is a must here as you can easily get lost without a tour guide. Juan ensured the entire group was safe, comfortable, and constantly checked in with us. Juan went above and beyond & I’d highly recommend him & this tour to all my friends.

A tough but worth it experience. - The hike is moderate-hard in some parts. It is an all-day excursion with several chances to jump in the water and swim at the first and final beaches. Our guide, Isaac, was attentive, fun, and knowledgeable. We had a great time! From Oregon.

Hidden Beaches Hike is worth the trip! - Fun trip! Our guide Eric was very informative and easy to talk to. Each hike is part shade & sun, some uphill but for short distances, wear good shoes. Snorkeling is optional at one of the beaches, waves were quite rough the day we went so visibility was not great but still a fun day, beaches are beautiful & the water is amazing! We met the guide at the bus stop ~9:30 & returned ~4-4:30pm.

Worth seeing these beaches! - Beautiful beaches, great folks in the tour and Eric our guide was very nice and helpful. The meeting place was a bit confusing as several groups were meeting up. Eric took on more folks - the other guide did not show up. The local bus ride to the starting point was an experience in itself; both ways the bus was full with standing people. If you are physically fit and have great balance, this will be a breeze. If not, think twice. They are some parts that are quite steep and rocky, bridges with broken boards, getting in and out of the boats if the water is rough…. But the views were incredible! You can only get to these beaches by hiking in or boat. Eric was very attentive and assisted me (and others) during the steep parts. I am not in the greatest shape and some parts were scary. Eric was like a billy goat - jumping around no problem helping out! You can purchase water, beer, fruit along the way. Bring water! Especially on hot days. Don’t pack too much! The restaurant at the end had a good variety of choices. We did not get back by 4. Take note! We finished at 6:15. A very long day.

Tips for the non avid hikers - It starts off on a city bus, not a private transfer. It’s definitely moderate. I’m not a power hiker, I had no issues just went a bit slow. We weren’t really able to swim at any of the beaches because the water was too turbulent, but our guide said it was the time of year. Overall it’s a very beautiful and interesting hike. I do recommend it. There’s overpriced snacks sold along the way. It’s best to have pesos because they do not give a good rate. It’s one of the more rustic tours I’ve done. Like the boats were hard, and a bit scary to get into and out of at times. Even if you’re not a great hiker, as long as you can walk and go uphill a bit, you’ll be able to do this and enjoy it!
