Catastrophic - Let's start with our arrival at the cashier. From the beginning, the experience leaves a bitter taste: after waiting to buy tickets at 1500 baht (about €42), we see a person passing in front of us, obviously prioritized for no good reason. The organization is already a disaster. Arriving in the stadium, we move forward and sit on blue sofas that seemed accessible. A few minutes later, a man comes to us asking for our tickets with a disdainful “ticket”. After checking, the presenter allows himself to let us go of a condescending "nice try, but your seats are at 1.5k and not at 2.5k". His haughty and arrogant tone is absolutely shocking. This gentleman, who thinks he’s the king of the island’s fighting, is really just a failed presenter with an oversized ego. A quick search on Instagram reveals a meagre 1200 followers. A pathetic attempt at notoriety. And his style... let's talk about it. I have never seen a person wear two watches at the same time. Maybe he thinks he’s in a different time zone, or he’s just lost track of good taste. Regardless, the effect is disastrous: neither credible nor elegant. At this level, it could animate fights in another dimension. And that was just the beginning. Forced to reach our “official” squares, we discover that it is simply... tiles! No cushion, no comfort. Prepare to have your butt on fire for two hours. For an event at this price, it is a scandal. The sound is absolutely horrible. Between deafening music and poor sound quality, you can hear nothing. When the presenter tries to express himself in French, English or another language, it is simply incomprehensible. An unbearable cacophony that only adds to the chaos. To top it all off, the organisation is non-existent: no one really places you, and several spectators sat on the famous blue sofas undisturbed. Clearly, the rules only apply to some, at the discretion of dear Fernando and his team. As for the fights, they are correct, but far from the level you would expect for an event that wants to be prestigious. In short, this experience was a disaster from beginning to end. Thanks to Fernando (aka “fernandokohsamui”) for his key role in this fiasco. Between his arrogance, his incompetence, a catastrophic organization and a dubious style of dress (two watches, seriously?), he can say goodbye to any ambition to escape anonymity.
