Perfect snorkelling day trip - The whole day was so perfect. The organisation from start to finish was flawless. Picked up from hotel in lovely air conditioned mini bus, great organisation and instructions when we arrived at the port. Speedboat is comfortable and fits about 30. You can only see out of back or if you go out in the front which isn’t covered. We were happy to sit inside out of the sun. The guide and crew were great and making sure everyone knew what the day held and making sure people were all ok. The trip is 1.5 hrs each way and the noise from the engines means you can’t really talk but honestly most people nodded off both ways! There was no one on board even slightly sea sick but the water was really calm. The first stop we managed to get close to a green turtle which was truly amazing and it swam straight under me. The scenery and koh Tao are magnificent and well worth to 1.5 hr journey. The second stop we stopped in another little bay and saw all sorts of fish. We haven’t done a lot of snorkelling but the coral and fish were amazing to see. The next stop was for lunch in a restaurant in koh Tao and the food was possibly the best I have had in Thailand on an excursion and we did the Michelin tuk tuk tour in Bangkok and this was better. Next stop koh nang yang which was knock your socks off beautiful. More snorkelling although not loads to see in the water but the place was incredible to sit and take in for an hour and a bit. Really great day and a highlight of our 2 weeks in Thailand. Remember to put plenty of sun cream on your bum!

Great Snorkel Tour - I wanted to snorkle some coral, and this was the ticket! A free pick-up/drop-off at my accomodations plus a very fast clean newish boat took us out to a cluster of three islands. Great snorkeling, a stop for lunch, amd good company. Highly recommend. Do note that you will be asked for 250 Baht ($7.50) for the lunch stop. Well worth it.

A waterfront aquarium.. - This is more than a water aquarium. Make sure to bring bread, then you can feed the fish. We did it and we had an underwater camera. Great views! Friends, this is a place like idyllic, white sandy haven. There are boat tours that you can get here from a lot of places, and I’ve heard that there are people who take a private ride on boats, but I don’t have much idea. On the island, there’s a cafe with a drink menu. You can’t even bring in any drinks from the outside. They get 500 B at the entrance and get 100 B per person if you use sunbeds. But if you’re not staying long, I don’t think there are any sunbeds needed. Sign in with your direct towel. I'm sure you''ll have a good time here, which is definitely a recommendation.

Snorkelling and exploring - This was a very good trip if I had to say something it would be that the boat ride is quite long and you have to stay seated which means you can’t see the sea or surroundings until you get there. The first stop was amazing snorkelling but the second wasn’t as good. Boats kept coming in where we were snorkelling so you had to move out the way. This could be better managed with times of other boats or not to come into the bay for safety of other swimmers.

Great trip, with minor flaws - Overall, it was a very good day trip. The pickup was just in time, with a very nice car. The logistics on the pier was very good and fast. The small breakfast included banana and a drink. We sailed to koh Tao first with a speedboat that had very high windows, so we couldn't see the way, and the way wasn't bumpy at all. It took about 1.5 hour to reach the first snorkeling place, which was very beautiful. When you get there, try to stay close to the rocks, where more fish can be spotted. The 2nd snorkeling place was just 5 minutes ride, since it was at the other side of the same small bay (I wouldn't call it a different place...), and it was as good as the first one. Then we sailed to lunch in Koh Tao, which was adequate, no more no less - steamed rice, fried noodles with vegetables, chicken drums and fruits. The last place we visited was Koh Nangyuan, where we stayed 1.5 hours. A word of advice - if you want to do more than just visiting the viewpoint, go straight there, since it took us about 1 hour because of the line for taking pictures. The way back to Koh Samui was much bumpier, but I think about half of the people fell asleep. The crew was very nice and helpful, providing free cold water and cola and beers for purchase. The last thing, we requested to be transferred to a different place than our hotel on return, but that ride left without waitng for us, so we had to order our own ride ...

Much effort for very little snorkeling pleasure - Organized , friendliness and helpfulness was top. Unfortunately, that's what I can report positively. First 30 minutes van, then short break at the pier and then 90 minutes by speedboat. Would then have been the 45 minutes snorkeling top , ok, but unfortunately we and then at about 30 m were allowed to share the water with about 50 -60 people. And there wasn't much to see of colorful corals and fish. Second stop a few more fish and paint, nothing else. Third stop: private island, here came to the snorkelers also plenty of divers. All in all, very disappointing. Not comparable to Bali or Egypt

I wasn’t satisfied. I hope are more modern and thoughtful tours. I was waiting for more comfort and emotions. - Snorkeling was only twice and not well. The boat seats wasn’t comfortable. Too many people were on the boat. Poor launch, not tasty.

Disappointing, not again - We were hoping for more care and information and also the choice of snorkeling sites. Unfortunately also no swim fins received snorkel masks were leaking. Staff seemed listless and entire excursion resembled a coffee ride. Overall disappointing, therefore only 2 stars.
